Tanglewood Assisted Living

Tanglewood Assisted Living & Memory Care is a memory care community located on twenty acres just south of Fenton, Michigan. The facility provides twenty-four hour assistance from trained staff, with individualized care tailored to each resident's condition.

The community occupies 5,000 square feet and includes twelve private bedrooms, three large living rooms, two separate dining areas, a beauty salon, and four bathrooms. The entire facility is wheelchair accessible with ramps at all doors, roll-up vanity, and a roll-in shower. Residents have access to two decks, a private sunroom, and an enclosed garden courtyard.

The property's natural setting features acres of gardens, woods, and fields where residents routinely observe wildlife including songbirds, deer, pheasants, hawks, turkeys, owls, and Sandhill Cranes. Residents able to walk can stroll through the gardens with staff, while those with mobility limitations can be transported via electric golf cart along pathways throughout the twenty-acre property.

The community shares its parcel with a working horse farm. Residents can view the barn, pastures, and riding arena, and a paved, handicapped-accessible walk connects the house to the barn where residents attended by staff can watch horses being fed and groomed or relax in a heated tack room.

The facility includes a large walk-through kitchen designed for baking projects with residents, supporting engagement and activities within the community.
