We have used First light home care for the last two years as we needed help caring for my father while my wife and I were at work. I can’t say enough about the high level of care and compassion they provided, and were also very flexible with our changing schedules. Their prices are fair and I highly recommend their services if this level of care is required for a loved one. Adam

First Light works hard to keep communication flowing about the care they provide. The owners are actively involved in daily operations/care. Fees are fairly assessed based on hours actually worked. Having worked with their competitors, I feel that First Light is better than what some others consider to be the best Home Care service in Genesee County.

We all of the sudden needed in-home care for my Mother-In-Law and FirstLight was the perfect choice. Within 3 days of calling them, they had come in for a consultation and worked with us to find the perfect care givers for her. They answered calls and came on-site all hours of the night to make sure we and she were being taken care of like a family member. After we moved her into a full time Assisted Living, they even came to visit her and make sure she was still being take care of!! Can’t recommend FirstLight enough.

Brian of FirstLight was very empathetic when I called inquiring about a caregiver for my disabled brother. Throughout the process, I felt reassured as he constantly kept my brother's needs in the forefront as we developed a care plan. Being new to the process, I was very impressed with his availability when I called and when we did speak, with his willingness and ability to answer my questions. Because my brother has limited resources, he assisted me in identifying the most critical times care was needed. This helped to limit the costs while assuring that my brother would receive proper care which will allow him to continue to live at home. I highly recommend FirstLight for their compassion and high level of professionalism.
