McFarlan Home

McFarlan Home is an assisted and independent senior living community for women over 60 located in Flint, Michigan. The home provides a supportive residential environment with services including medication dispensing and 24-hour staff availability for emergencies.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and personal items to personalize their living spaces. Founded in 1925 based on the vision of Mary McFarlan Whaley, the home was established through a trust to provide housing for elderly women. It is licensed by the State of Michigan and currently serves 29 residents, each of whom is free to pursue their daily activities with or without assistance.
