My mom has been here for several years and I can’t think of any place better for her. The staff is loving and hard working and the facility is top notch. A truly wonderful memory care facility. Patrick and his staff truly love and care for each resident.

My husband has only been there since February. SCR, in my opinion, is the closest thing to being at home. The food seems to be very good home cooked meals. He has very good care. I do have a camera in his room. Caregivers are kind and some even sing (Danny and Rosa) when they’re getting him ready for bed. He enjoys that. There so many thoughtful caregivers working there. Junior works at night and helps my husband get ready for bed. He even sat on the bed and had a sweet conversation with my husband before he went to sleep. Then patted his head and said goodnight. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. If something isn’t right, tell them, and they do their best to correct it quickly. The staff tries to get the residents to participate in activities. Some do and some just watch. A director there also has her daughter (teen) to come in and assist with activities. She’s great and very good at getting residents involved. It’s a place where everyone feels like family. Patrick is also a director and always returns calls and texts. I’m very happy Patrick is now at SCR. I pray none of them leave. Pam B.

This place is different in the best sort of way. When your parent has dementia or Alzheimer’s and needs full time care, it is quite a difficult decision. Our family chose Sycamore Creek Ranch after a thorough search. There were a few factors that helped us make our decision. We liked that residents had multiple areas to congregate outside their rooms. We liked the layout and atmosphere, as it felt warm and inviting like a lodge. We also liked the scratch-made, delicious meals they serve, meals the owner has personally tested with his own family. We liked that there were several other men there too. Although there were a few issues at the beginning, ever since Patrick, the facility Director, arrived last summer my father’s care has been excellent. The employees are all regularly trained specifically on dealing with memory care patients. They are attentive and caring. My dad has lived at SCR over a year now, and it warms my heart to know he is well cared for, and I would even go so far as to say he is happy there. Patrick engages the residents with trivia, games, exercises, and other activities. My dad has a friend there and they are like two peas in a pod. They both suffer from Alzheimer’s but are always sitting together, spinning tales, doing puzzles, and engaging with the other residents. This is not just what we prayed for, it is far more. We are thankful for this place, and highly recommend it.

Amazing caregivers full of love, dedicated to providing tender loving care to the residents! The managers Ted and Katie are always providing support, education and training to the staff! I always refer my patients to this facility and I am never disappointed with the care. The families are always so satisfied with the care. The food is so good I end up stealing a bite here and there! There is no comparison to the care your loved one will receive here compared to other places!
