Sycamore Creek is hands down the best place for your mom or dad. You have to see it to believe it. The changes I’ve seen in my mom since she’s been here are amazing. She’s happier than she’s been in years. The staff is amazing and a part of the family.

We had a great experience with my mother staying here. The staff was first class and extremely caring, they made it feel like home. My mother was hard to deal with but the staff made it look easy. Thanks to Elva, Kara, Mary, Stormy, Annabelle, Stephanie(who bathed her) and many others who worked there, even Jennifer, who made everybody laugh. Forever Grateful !!!

With great anxiety, my siblings & I agreed the safest place for our 90-year old mother would be a memory care facility. Mom had begged us to never put her in “a home” but it was becoming more & more difficult to keep her safe & it was affecting us not only mentally but also physically. Such a hard & depressing decision, we obsessed at how placing her might possibly cause a drastic downturn in her condition. Then after much research & visits to various memory care facilities in the area, one day I popped into Sycamore Creek Ranch - Shenandoah, after a good friend told me how much her father loved it there & the rest is history. Mom has been there now for over 4 months & she is doing beautifully. She has settled in so much better than we could’ve ever imagined & absolutely loves her caretakers as well as a number of other residents that she considers her friends. It’s small (16 suites, 1 resident to a suite) but boasts a roomy open floorplan that’s so homey, fireplaces, cozy seating areas & all. There’s also an awesome covered patio & sidewalks in the beautiful & secured backyard. She gets full course meals 3 times a day, snacks when she wants them, daily exercise, activities & lots of sweet attention. I can’t say enough how quickly the guilt of placing her melted away when we saw we had made the right decision. We can now be her kids & leave the caretaking & heavy-lifting to the professionals. Thank you Elva, Mary & the rest of our SCR -Shenandoah extended family!
