I do not recommend this facility to anyone. My cousin lived here and recently passed away, the facility didn’t even bother to send flowers to the funeral/family. A different nursing home in town sent flowers to his funeral and the one he lived in didn’t. That should tell you everything you need to know about the type of management running this facility! While my cousin lived here, there was not interventions made by the care plan coordinators to increase his daily intake or his weight. I’ve been told by current and former staff that they sit on their phones majority of the work day. They have some great CNA’s and Nurses but some of the management have no empathy for their residents or grieving families. Bring your loved one ANYWHERE else!

I cannot say enough about the staff at Sunset manor Rehab and nursing care. They are amazing! The staff was hugely instrumental in helping my 41 year old son make progress in his overall health and well being. He came to sunset after having complications with Cadasil disease and major depression. The staff was so on top of his needs and care. They made him feel at home, cared about and important. They got him on the right medications and into some mental health therapy sessions for his depression and also would joke around with him so he couldn’t be down. They just made him feel so much better! He also made progress with his physical and occupational therapy provided. He said if he needs to return to any nursing rehab that Sunset in Canton would be his first choice. Thank you so much to everyone at Sunset for the excellent care you provide and offer to the community.
