Summersville Healthcare Center has been wonderful during the transition of my mom to long-term care. More importantly my mom has received excellent care, and we are very grateful for the kindness and compassion shown by the staff. Kristen has been outstanding—she is always happy to help, communicates openly, and keeps us updated, which gives our family great peace of mind. My mom’s private room is wonderful, and the facility is exceptionally clean. We appreciate everything the team does to make residents and their families feel supported.

★★★★★ 5-star experience! CommuniCare Summersville is at the top of my list when it comes to skilled nursing care! My uncle has been there approximately a year and a half to date following living in two other area facilities and multiple hospital stays over the past 3+ years once it was no longer safe for him to be at home. My uncle is MUCH more satisfied at ComminiCare Summersville than anywhere else he has stayed. He no longer wants to go home!! All private rooms with individual bathrooms and showers are an incredible feature that cannot be matched by other area facilities. The staff is welcoming, the facility is always clean, and the care provided is top-notch. It is a beautiful facility and most of it seems more like a nice hotel than a skilled nursing facility. They truly treat residents like family. Linda (Activities) and Grace (Nursing, Unit Manager) have given our family peace of mind regarding the medical care and keeping my uncle actively involved in socialization activities. I highly recommend ComminiCare Summersville to any family looking for a safe and caring place for their loved one.

Summersville Healthcare Center sure made my dad's transition a smooth and very pleasant experience. They immediately accessed his needs upon his arrival/checkin, both personal and medical. The staff is professional and friendly, and had everything ready for him as well as the paperwork, etc. for his family. It could not have been any easier or less stressful! Wonderful facility providing dignity to the residents. Highly recommend!
