We had our father Bob Hyde at Sugarbush he loved it from the very beginning however it was even better when Keesha came aboard. He loved her like a daughter and she treated him like a father. Sarah, the house manager was also an angel and gave our dad so much attention. He loved those girls and we are grateful for the wonderful care he got from them. Don’t be impressed by a facility that looks all brand new and has all the bells and whistles but has staff that are cold and repetitious. We are so grateful for the loving care that dad received daily at Sugarbush.❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕

In 2024 I began looking for a home centered facility for two people that I am POA for. I visited many facilities, not impressed at all. I was contacted by Sara , as she saw that I had been looking at Care.com. She was so calm answering all my questions, explained the different setting of their facilities. I visited 2 locations with Sugarbush, not feeling they would work. I was looking for a place were that might feel like home as they were both blind and required help eating, caring for themselves and dressing which requires patience. I remember letting Sara know that I would think about the 2 places she enthusiastically showed me. Sarah had one more place to show me, I hesitated and said yes. I walked in, very bright, dinner was cooking, staff friendly, saying hi and appeared to enjoy her job. Sarah had 2 rooms, open at this house, and the "girls" could be together as they knew each other. All my questions were answered, I put down a deposit on the Sugarbush house. Sarah made arrangements to meet me with the papertwork. I have to say she was so upbeat and i could tell she loved her job,
Next came move in day. Sarah was there to welcome PS. Took time to introduce the staff and help PS to feel at home. I visited at different times of day the first couple of weeks as PS was having some difficilty settling, missing her dog and home. No matter when I arrived staff were busy caring for the "friends"", however had time to check with me on how I was doingalso letting me know how PS was adjusting. Many of the staff stand out, however Keesha had a bond with PS, checking often to see how she was doing. PS was happy to talk with Keesha. PS was only with Sugarbush for 2.5 months before her health went downhill. I always received a call if they were concerned or just to let me know how she was doing. We did have to call in Hospice, the staff were very helpful and supportive as PS was being released the next day from the hospital. The were there so she knew where she was!! I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate group of people!. Checking on PS often throughout the day, showing her so much love.
During this time, the other friend moved in, she was treated the same way with care and concern. PS and EG were friends, EG had a difficult time with PS's illness. Staff would ask if EG could visit PS, bring her down and get her settled. They were all so comforting to PS, family and friends. I couldn't ask for a more compassionate staff.
After PS passed, I of course continued to visit EG. Often the staff would ask how I was doing, which meant a lot to me.
Lastly, I have recommended this company to a few of my friends in need of a place for their loved one. I can't say enough for the love and devotion that the Sugarbush house staff have for their "friends". They make holidays and birthdays special for all. Thank you for taking care of everyone, and hiring excellent staff who show that they love their job.

In my opinion this place needs to be closed down! The level of care my loved one received at the Woodkrest location in a four month period of time, sent her to the hospital for 2 weeks! They checked on her 4 days later! When she was discharged I moved her somewhere else! The next communication was an ohh i'm sorry she's not returning, followed by a request for money...
