I was looking for a place for my widower uncle. I had heard StoryPoint Hixson South was a great place. My first tour nearly brought me to tears. It was WONDERFUL! The facility is so peaceful and beautiful. Common area decor looks high-end. The apartments are very nice. Plenty of room. I then took my uncle to see StoryPoint. He is 85 and not really wanting such a change but after the tour; speaking to staff and many residents; and finally eating at the restaurant, he signed up! He and my aunt were very sociable and he’s lost that as he is disabled and cannot drive anymore. StoryPoint will give him the social support he needs and I will have peace of mind for his safety.<br>Other aspects: the staff are completely dedicated to their residents. The cost comparison between home ownership and StoryPoint will be less than $1000 for my uncle. Meals, housekeeping, activities, church, movie room, etc are all included. There is even a salon for hair and nails onsite although that is at the residents expense. There is a 24-hour concierge service so someone is always available, especially for emergencies. Also included is an emergency alert necklace. I am so very pleased he will be moving to such a beautiful, comfortable and loving place.

From the start of the tour, it was obvious that the focus was about my comfort and needs. The concern was always about myself and my family. What could they do for us, not visa versa. Impressive facility and refreshing experience. Thank you Bryan and staff.

My visit to Story Point Hixson South was exciting, thorough, and informational. My tour, guide and host, Heather, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, quick to answer all questions, and non-aggressive. She clearly presented the senior living community as a resort type of lifestyle for older adults, still wishing to live independently, but ready to slow down a bit. The facility was spotlessly, clean and beautifully decorated while still giving a home-like atmosphere. The people were respectful and friendly, staff and residents alike. StoryPoint Hixson South has a top-notch chef, Bruce, who serves delicious and ample food selections and menus. The amenities are perfect for social , health, safety and pleasure for independent senior adults. The location is ideal for access to marketing, activities, medical attention, and even a nearby public library. I left feeling confident and secure about making a decision to join the community. I had toured two other facilities, which were each very nice But this one was definitely a step above.

My brother and I helped our mom select Everlan as her residence in April 2025. It has been everything they promised it would be. Her apartment is perfectly suited for her needs and includes a full kitchen, a washer/dryer, and a walk in shower.<br><br>She has been welcomed with open arms by the staff and other residents who are all very warm and friendly. The service from the staff has been exceptional. Everyone, including the Executive Director, concierge staff, maintenance crew and dining room servers, has been so helpful and accommodating in getting her settled in.<br><br>As her adult children, we can be assured that she has a comfortable living environment, companionship, and safety that Everlan offers. We couldn't be more grateful and happy with this move for our mom.
