My mother was in rehab for a month fir PT and OT. Nothing happens on the weekend and there are no social workers available, no one wears their name tags except the Pt and OTs so my mom was constantly confused who people were. One night a man walked in her room and told her to get up out of bed then he left. When she pushed on the button for help it took over an hour to get someone to come in to help<br>Her out of bed. The first monday she wad there they gave her the wrong dose of her one medication that she took. When she was released, numerous people from Stoneybrook kept coming to or calling the house fir her to sign up for services from Stoneybrook even after I called and left a message for a social worker. She was released without paperwork expaining anything. I would suggest that you not consider ever putting your mother into rehab at stoneybrook!

Don't take your loved ones here.<br>Nurses need better education on being aware of changes in patient conditions. Long wait times when nurse is needed. No empathy. My mom was never able to see their doctor, even though I asked multiple times. I kept asking what was wrong with the catheter and again brushed off when I noted the dark color with blood and cognitive decline in my mother. My mom ended up having a severe uti, pneumonia, and dangerously low oxygen. After being brushed off many times, I had them call an ambulance. Unfortunately it was too late. This establishment should be investigated by the state. Aides were very helpful. Its much more than being under staffed here. No excuses.

The person I was waiting smelled like pee and had on dirty clothes . Staff was very uninformative and unfriendly. This person's room smelled like pee. And when this resident wanted assistance to walk every one of the staff said get in your wheel chair . This is unacceptable behavior. I called state very bad place for anyone to have loved ones

I have been able to volunteer at several events, and I live the kinds of activities this nursing home has! It's clear that the staff really care for the residents
