Beware of where you are putting your loved ones if you really care about them and their well being. My mom was there bc she had a mini stroke. I received one complaint after another each and every day. It seemed like most of the complaints were regarding the evening staff. Alot of the aides were either nasty, rude or just plain ignored you. There was a big lack of response whenever a patient needed assistance or a delay for hours. I have witnessed this myself. I am not saying all of the aides were bad, but there are a lot that are. My mom and her roommate(s) have ALL complained about how terrible the meals were. Often being served cold food or out dated juice. I found myself bringing her food just to make sure she ate something bc she was taking a lot of medication. There was also a major mix up where one of the nurses came in late one night to administer medication to both my mom and her roommate and mixed up the medication. Unfortunately, the mistake was not noticed until the roommate went to take hers the next morning and noticed that she had my moms. In the meantime, my mom had already consumed the roommates meds accidentially. The Social Worker (Shannon) was not very personable. She tries to deflect everything back onto the patient and never wants to admit that there are flaws with some of the staff members. I believe that is because it is easy to make the patient look like they don't know what they know because they are elderly. This was one of worse experiences ever and I would not recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehab. There is not sense of privacy and dignity for the elderly in some cases.

Worst nursing home I’ve encountered. My grandmother was in and out of nursing homes for years. She spent her final years of life at this place. Throughout the years she had her belongings stolen, she was sexually assaulted, treated poorly by staff, and towards the end of her life on multiple occasions I had to bring her food because they didn’t bring her her meals. During one of the visits, they had missed her lunch and when confronted about it, went and got it for her. My mother dropped her wallet in the parking lot and an employee picked it up and took it in. $100 was missing and the manager and she wouldn’t even look into it. When asked about the cameras, 2 separate employees told me that the cameras in and around the building are dummy cameras and don’t actually record. We were also told this by another employee when my grandmother’s belongings went missing out of her room. My friend had an aunt stay at another sterling care location for rehabilitation for her broken leg and she had a terrible experience as well. I also have a friend who worked at the bel air location who said it was the worst company she ever worked for. Wouldn’t ever even consider putting another family member in here.

Lack of quality staff, administration at this center does not care about the care that our loved ones are getting. I have raised several concerns with the nurse Mgr and Director, but I'm told we are short staffed. Parking is horrible due to the staff parking right in front of the facility and the closeness to the front door for them. Visitors have to park on the street or at the liquor store down the street. Staff need to park in upper lot and leave closer parking for the elderly and visitors. Dave needs to do better at this center and over see more of the day to day chores at this center. Very concerned about the daily care of my mother. Praying for someone to intervene and do better.

My husband was there for rehab to get better at walking again but he passed away there instead. I had requested all my paperwork ( bank statements, personal papers) back and Heather said she sent it out in the mail. I had paid $75 to get all that paperwork to her when she needed it in such a quick short time. Yet she put it back to me in first class and it has been over a month now and it has not arrived. I am very disappointed with this facility. My husband had something show up on his ankle and yet they canceled his appointment even though they thought it might be a blood clot. And with the way he died I'm pretty sure it had something to do with it. All I can say is do your homework and research places before you decide where to put your loved ones! Also their response below is a joke. If they really cared they'd call me, I should not have to call them. I actually did call and still have not been responded to. Just like Heather never returned phone calls when I left messages on her machine. I most definitely do not recommend this rehab facility... Beware!!!!

Never ever choose this place for rehab. From my 2 week experience I can’t believe this place is allowed to operate. Administration is incompetent and care is poor. I went there to rehab after serious back surgery. I was still in great pain. It took them 3 days to get my pain meds. I was trying to transfer to another place, which is controlled by the “case manager”. I tried to meet with her for 4 days, even elevating my request to the facility manager - nothing, crickets. I even tried to go to the case manager’s office but was told she was having lunch. The place is also severely understaffed. Some of the nurses and techs were very nice but most hated their jobs. When I went to therapy, there were often 15-20 wheelchairs with patients waiting for treatment. The gym was also very small with little equipment. Very poor rehab facility.
