Alissa Wallace’s poor management and leadership have caused significant problems at this facility. My father, who has been here for years, has lost some of the best aides and med techs due to her incompetence. As a result, I’m planning to remove my father from the facility next month. We never had any issues with the previous company. I am very sad that it has come to this but I can’t sit by and watch this happen anymore.

First the good. It is a nice setting near the ma and Pa trail The place is limited to 50 residents. It is clean and not full of noise and the rooms are somewhat decent studio style and clean. They do have a doctor that comes in on certain days The staff has been very nice. Now the downside. The food is subpar. Regular complaints about that It takes them a long time to take care of a situation. There are no group social outings. There is no transportation offered to doctor visits etc so the resident will need to be totally dependent upon family or friends if they have them. so if someone is social and able to go out, or has no family to help them this is not the place to do it. Overall the place seemed to have gone downhill somewhat since being taken over by Presbyterian homes, but is still better than some places I'm sure.

Highly recommend Hart Heritage for your loved ones. We were looking for a home, away from home for our Mother. We met with Kim Cook for a tour and absolutely felt at home there. Kim was wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, our Mother had a fall prior to moving her there. One phone call to Kim and we were assured they would find space for her, even when we learned she would be entering under hospice. I can't say enough about how accommodating and kind they were. I'm sorry our Mother wasn't able to experience living there, as we lost her before she was able to become a resident. In our hearts we knew this was the place for her

Nice facility. Friendly staff. Beautiful property and private. Outside and inside areas to sit, eat and visit with family and friends. Secure.

This facility is good if you, the resident, can take care of yourself. If you, the resident, require assistance from the staff, it will be very inconsistent and not through. The medical staff is very short-handed and only work 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I would not recommend this facility. Very expensive for what you get.
