I can’t say enough good things about this place. They take care of everything your loved ones need. The nursing staff are all wonderful. They alleviated so much stress for us, just knowing my grandmother was getting round the clock care for all her needs. They make them what they want to eat. Do their laundry, take care of hygiene, literally everything they need and they are so compassionate.

If you need hospice for a loved one, Hooper House is the most home-like and caring environment. While my mom was only there for a short time, she was regularly bathed, checked in upon hourly if not more frequently, and the staff was in constant contact. The rooms are more like a room in your own home with a couch and other furniture. They have a dining room that has snacks and drinks for families and friends. My mom’s room had a balcony with a view to the forest.

My mom was here and well taken care of. Even though she was only here for a short stat the staff were warm, comforting, and reassuring. Gina was absolutely wonderful. Thank you again

My mother, Ruth, was recently there to spend the last of her days. Everyone offered a warm welcome, they were very empathetic, caring, patient. We can tell each, and every one of them sincerely cared for their patients. My mother was well cared for. The Amedisys nurse June has a very comforting spirit about her and she helped me through the Hard conversations and decisions. The manager, Kristen help me feel comfortable through the whole process. And Nurse Kate also helped to guide me through some tough decisions. I have comfort, knowing that my mom was in beautiful place full of people who cared for her dearly in the last of her days. Thank you all.

I couldn't have hoped for a better place for my mother to be as she moved on from this life to the next. The facility is homelike, clean, bright, and provides the right amount of privacy for you and your loved one. I can not praise the staff enough! The level of caring and compassion they have for your loved one and their family's is beyond anything I have experienced before at the rehab's and hospital's mom was at before. I'm so glad I chose them for my mother. Everyone there made a difficult time, a little easier to deal with because of their care. We need more places like this!!!
