Warm welcoming environment. The staff are very friendly and attentive to my dad . From nursing to housekeeping they keep my dad happy during his recovery

While in San Angelo visiting, my mom had a fall was discharged to this skilled nursing facility to complete rehab. We toured a few facilities this one stood out staff was very welcoming and answers all our questions regarding her care.

They don't know how to care for alzhiemers pts. If you want your loved one left in pain, parked in front of a white wall alone during the day for god knows how long this is your place. I asked my loved one be toiletted every 2 to 3 hrs during the day, they didn't. These pts forget to go, dont remember to go and the steps needed or even the urge feeling. Most the time being told to go and helped is in order. They can read something and not recognize exactly what it is. So just handing a list of food to choose is not sufficient, my loved one lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Its like they dont try. Sadly, this is a beautiful facility too bad the staff is so lacking.
