St. John Neumann Place II

St. John Neumann Place II is an affordable senior housing community in South Philadelphia serving low-income residents ages 62 and older. Located on 1.39 acres of a former archdiocese high school campus, the community offers 52 one-bedroom apartments designed to provide accessible, independent living.

Each apartment features a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and garbage disposal. Bathrooms are equipped with assistance bars, walk-in showers, and medical emergency pull cords. The community maintains a medical screening room available for visiting doctors and health care workers.

The property is situated near Vare Recreation Center and surrounded by green spaces and parks. It sits adjacent to St. John Neumann Place, a companion senior living community operated by the same organization.

Residents are welcome to keep common household pets in their apartments, and service or assistance animals are also permitted. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises, and residents must sign a non-smoking agreement.
