Maria and Sonja are the best people to run St. James Place. Kind, attentive, a sense of humor and helpful. I’m so lucky to have them here.

The office manager Maria is probably the rudest, unprofessional person I have ever met. She is mean and very authoritarian to all the residents… My grandmother who was a resident, had fallen and was in her apartment for almost two days before any realized… luckily her neighbor found her and called ems. Afterwards, my grandmother was in ICU and unresponsive in the hospital.. during that time she obviously hadn’t paid her rent yet (because she was hospitalized) and Maria suggested I take her check book and write a check to pay it… she literally asked me to commit FRAUD!!! Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away… and Maria was unsympathetic about her passing, she rushed me into signing eviction paper work so I could hurry up and get her stuff out. If you care about your loved ones… find another place…
