Takes a full hour for nurses to show up after you hit the call button. What if there was a health emergency?!

Ashley River Healthcare has a very welcoming atmosphere where you can tell the patients are very well taken care of and happy. I took a tour of the facility and staff was smiling and helpful, residents were clean and well manicured, and the facility was clean with a great smell throughout the facility. There were activities going on while we were walking through and the residents and staff seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their time. My mother ended up not being sent for rehab from the hospital as initially thought but Ashley River Healthcare would be where we requested if it was needed. Every person we spoke to was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. We went on multiple tours of different local facilities and found the staff to be inconvenienced by having to do “another tour”. We appreciated the kindness we received at Ashley River and there is surely a place we will utilize if needed and would recommend to anyone else who may be looking for a homelike experience for your loved one looking for care.
