I was here during COVID-19 for 3 months the staff was awesome the rehabilitation facility helped me heal the Staff Mike and all are a team .I recommend this for healing and recovery the cooks awesome very clean social worker assisted me with love and care during my stay I was able to heal through my art exhibit and minture sculptures and a beautiful display day celebrating I was going home. The news spread fast that I was an artist Asbury Park Press wrote a story title I'm A Walking Miracle by Jacqueline Baker I'm a living testimony and so greatful to be alive with the help of divine intervention and God using the love of a nurse, doctor,and aids they all had there part in my recovery . Now I'm a new Author the title of my books are His beauty for my ashes and breath in and smell the rose's both on Amazon I Truly want to say thank you for all of your encouragement and support and letting me be me when times were tuff you allowed me to play my music and the nurses and resident would dance. My mom was in and out of here in several occasions. And it was never a good experience even with new management. My mom fell in their care was vleedingcon the brain.. her food was left in the room knowing she couldn't feed her self and she was always starving. The second time they found her in the floor they never sent her ro the er and called me 3 hours later. After finally getting her to er at midnight she was bleeding again on brain.. while sitting next to her in hospital e and contacted rhe nurse when she stopped breathing the nurse said she had a pulse. She was gone! They were throwing her hands aroynd putting oxegyn tag on finger..! The incompetence in this place is awful. Stay clear of this place. Ur loved ones will be ignored, mistreated and starve!

After looking at several places my sister and I chose SH. Turned out to be a mistake. When the Director (Dan) left things went from bad to worse. The new temporary Director (Bianca) is implementing a lot of changes. Many of them are good, but it resulted in them forgetting to put our mom to bed or get her out of bed 3 times! Many staff left including the Director of Nursing. Now the memory floor often smells of urine near the main door. 🤢 We kept mom there, but after 1 year we decided not to keep her there. Really wanted it to be her last residence, but unfortunately it's not. Hopefully her new place will be better.

There is only a couple of good nurses that work here. Most of them have disgusting attitude and walk around ranting about how they don’t like to be bothered. I have a family member that has been here for the past couple of months and I’ve already ran into two disagreements with different nurses. One of them gave me an attitude because she claimed to have administered the patients’ medicine where as the patient claimed otherwise. They verbally stated that “I should bring a camera next time” to prove that the nurse did not administer the medicine. If that’s the case, maybe someone WILL record and post it viral. They talk to the patients as if they were crazy and exhibit annoyance when questioned. The second time, a nurse was venting in the hallways that “the family members are the reason why most nurses leave this place.” This erupted from a simple inquiry of when their medicine was last administered. From the looks of the neighboring reviews, this is not the first time something like this has happened. The thing is, this isn’t some Starbucks/retail setting where the employee can make a mistake and not feel the full consequence of it. This line of work is much more detail-oriented and is not something that should be taken lightly. I know some nurses work double shifts and have been here alone but they should not have to take their stress out on the patients’ and their family members.

This place is not a good place to put your Family member. My sister and I have had many terrible experiences with the staff and the treatment of our mother. We are documenting everything and filing an Appeal against them. We felt that we were putting our mom in a great place. A lot of things are now being revealed. All dirt comes out in the rinse. I would think twice about putting a family member in the place. There are some great nurses but you can only count on 3 fingers. They now have a new Nursing Director who is trying fix things. But there is so much to fix because of the past staff. There has been a lot of changes with staff and higher ups I just don’t want our mom to be victim so we need to get her out of there sooner then later. There is so much I can say about SpringHill but I have nothing good to say at this time. Oh yes they did get a good mattress for her after being there for almost a month. The hot water tank is not putting out any hot water for 3 weeks. My sister is there every day and water never gets hot and they wonder why my mother gets upset. My sister has to bring hot water in a thermos to wash her face everyday. This is so sad. I pray for the patients at SpringHills every night that they get this place on track before they come in and shut them down. Next time will provide pictures I have plenty.
