I'm honestly shocked that the rating for this place is so low, as I've had nothing but thee absolute best care through them. I have 2 boys with special needs who are on the family support waiver, and boy did I choose the right company off the providers list to go with when I chose specialized home care services. Ruth and Jackie, you two are angels. Not to mention the "college crew" who came all the way up to the Notre Dame area (where we live) to put together our equipment. My family cannot thank you enough for the life changing/improving equipment you helped us obtain. Your expertise in obtaining the necessary documentation from the doctors is much appreciated!

I am so thrilled that Specialized Home Care Services was able to complete the fence job for my son. He is getting bigger and climbing the fence to escape. I’ve had to keep eyes on him 24/7 and every 5 min check to be sure he was still near by. Now that this project is complete I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of peace and security I now can feel knowing that he is safe and will not escape. They even installed new front gates that open nicely and a lock to keep him even more secure. For the first time in over two years I can read a book and not have to constantly worry about my son safely. Thank you so much for making this job a priority and helping to get the fence replaced.

Folks beware of using this company. they were supposed to remodel my bathroom and did a very poor job at it. Not only did the installer damage my heater I now have no heat at all because they refused to repair or replace the broken heater. They did not finish painting the whole room and now I have three colors and must hire someone to come in and finish painting, and at this point I am not sure how much it is going to cost to repair or replace the heater. So please shop around and do some background work before allowing companies like this on you property. One star is too many!!!!!

Do NOT use this company!!! They do NOT care about making your life easier. They did a bathroom modification so that my husband could age in place. The shower they installed is NOT usable. Specialized installed shower doors backwards and without the proper threshold. They refused to correct the error. My husband had to go to a nursing home because we did not have a safe way to keep him clean. He fell in the shower at the nursing home and died a horrible death. It was senseless!!! All because Specialized refused to correct their mistake!! Worst of all they blamed it on me and said they advised me not to put shower doors on. They did NOT advise no shower doors. In fact, they explained about how they use a semi permanent threshold to use shower doors now and if ever needed, it could be removed and a shower curtain placed!!! They lied and refuse to correct their contractor error and cost my husband his life. Shameful!!!
