IMO Southwood is the go to facility for skilled nursing and rehabilitation in this area. Their staff is exceptional and large and very attentive. Their rehabilitation professionals are beyond anything I have experiences. Top notch! I’m 79 years old and my husband and I have spent time at a number of facilities. Only facility I have ever recommended to our many friends and family. IMO Southwood is by far the best Rehabilitation on the South Shore.

My mother‑in‑law was recently a resident at Southwood at Norwell, and our family couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care she received. From the moment she arrived, it was clear that this is a facility where compassion, professionalism, and respect come first. The nursing staff was not only skilled and attentive, but genuinely kind in every interaction. They took the time to explain her care plan, answer our many questions, and make sure she felt comfortable and supported throughout her stay. The rehabilitation team was equally outstanding—encouraging, patient, and dedicated to helping her regain strength and confidence. The facility itself is clean, welcoming, and well‑maintained, creating an environment that feels safe and calming during what can be a stressful time. Communication with our family was excellent, and we always felt included and informed. Southwood at Norwell exceeded our expectations in every way. We are truly thankful for the outstanding care they provided and the dignity with which they treated our loved one. We would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to any family seeking high‑quality nursing or rehabilitation services.

I went to visit and I was pleasantly surprised with how clean the environment was. The appearance looks like things have been recently upgraded...and oh em geeee! Do NOT get me started on the staff! They are super friendly and welcoming, it made my heart happy knowing that these are the people caring for not only my great aunt, but for all the patients there. They're all clearly in the best of hands!

The nurses and caregivers went above and beyond, always taking the time to engage with him, listen to his needs, and provide both medical and emotional support. The facility was always clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, creating a warm and home-like environment. Communication with our family was excellent—they kept us informed about his health, treatment, and any changes in his condition.
