Anandi Miller took time from her busy schedule to help us, on a walk on basis. She showed us several apartments, and helped us get our paperwork completed and a teacher's discount bonus. She is always busy helping when and wherever needed. She and all the hard working staff are true assets to the Solista community. We appreciate all their hard work

I want to give a BIG Thank You to Solista Newberg! We brought the Waldo Middle School Jazz Band along with a flute duet and a flute and clarinet duet to share the gift of music with the Solista community. Both the residents and the students had a wonderful experience. Hopefully we will be coming back. On another note… I am looking forward to May 21st as Solista is having a “Prom” for the residents and my Woodwind Quintet, “Ventus” has been invited to play background music for what is going to be a very fun event. Again, Thank You for be so gracious and welcoming! Alicia Rasmussen

It has been some time since Cogir has been managing Solista and I thought I would just share some thoughts about the newest management personnel. Changes are always hard in Senior Living but I think each of the members of the management staff have been performing admirably. Aisea has been showing great promise and I feel many of the residents have come to feel very comfortable with him. Kaiya is very personable and has helped in many things over the months. She has gone above and beyond assisting me with some personal issues and I am grateful for her patience. I have noticed an increase in residents of late which can be attributed to Anandi's dedication and Oksana is doing a great job increasing the social activities and encouraging residents to participate. Finally but not least a thanks to Leon for all his help with maintenance issues and the newest addition to the staff Michael who is doing outstanding improvements in his role as Hospitality Manager. Looking forward to the next few months as spring comes to the Solista in Newberg.

I was always scared to even apply to a place like this because to me, it was out of my price range until I found out that it covers all of your fixed expenses . That's when I decided to step out in faith , and I met this incredible lady name Anandi Who gave me a tour of Solista that I found out is called an Inland Cruise Ship . I was blown away. There's 3 floors, all looking down into the atrium. There is a full Beauty salon /office, /a game room, /a full library. Then there's all kinds of activities , but the best part , they have a full restaurant. I've loved where I lived before at Village Qarter in Mcminville, because it was an upgrade from just an apartment. I lived on the flat Roof of a Green Building. It had all these flower beds outside my patio door, so it was hard to move from there. Yet, the thing I noticed here is that because people eat together/go on outings together every week/see each other in the halls. they're not hesitate to linger after a meal or sit in the Atrium/or couches or chairs scattered throughout the building to visit with each other. It is just a whole different atmosphere. So I tell people that in many , many ways it's like living in a little piece of Heaven. The only thing I could afford was a studio and I did what's called a reverse declutter. I moved all of my bookshelves and set it up so I have dining area, an office area,/a bookshelf that makes an entrance to my balcony/and then another bookshelf where i hide my sewing machine, and my bed up against the wall. Another bookshelf creates a bedroom and two chairs across from each other makes my living room for two, yahoo! When the maintenance man came in, I was apologizing because when I finished moving in, it looked now like a Storage Unit, that still needs a HUGE declutter. I told him what I was doing and all of a sudden, he said, "Oh ...a tiny house!" and my studio apartment was elevated,! Now, though there are things everyone doesn't like no matter where you live, like maybe some of the meals/or that we dont have stoves, so cooking is done in community kitchen if wanted. Yet i choose to focus on all the pluses. I absolutely love it here! I would encourage anybody to at least explore that maybe, this is even better than where you're living. Besides, by living on second floor in front, I hear the Ambulance 🚑 and fire truck rumble in. I look out from balcony and pray, for both first responders and whoever needs them. Calling Chaplain Mike living in our building to let him know, i realized,"Oh!...I know! I'm a watchman on the wall." What a privilege! SONshine S. H. / Former Sr. Ms. OR 24-25

My dad is a resident since 2025 and is very happy there. I love to visit him and see how safe and secure he is. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and his fellow residents are all kind and welcoming. The building is nice and modern and clean. Plus there’s a Fred Meyer conveniently located across the street. I’m absolutely thrilled I found this place for him.
