This post is not about me. It's about the people who answers the phone at Sleepy Hallow Nursing home. They are very disrespectful when they answer they transferred me to others room and sometimes when I call put on hold for long periods of time, and have to call back. The people answering the phones need to be let go period.

This place needs to be shut down!!! These people neglect their patients!!! Your loved one will be left with rock hard feces lodged in their butt, toenails piled high and dirt caked on their body! Did I mention bed sores and bruises? If you send your loved one anything they will steal it as well. The facility doesn’t tend to their patients medically, leaving them in their bed for WEEKS AT A TIME without physically therapy! Causing low medically assistance patients to become bed ridden from lack of mobility! Shaving patients head after they neglected them!! All they do is collect their money form insurance and leave their patients to deteriorate!

I visited a friend on 2/9 and was not happy with what I saw. First off the name Sleepy Hollow is the worst name for any place and the name fits the facility. Mostly every nurse I saw had a frown on there face and had an attitude. I asked a few questions to the nurse about my friend schedule yes told me what I wanted to hear. My friend said the place is horrible they don’t bathe her or wash her clothes. She had weeks of dirty clothes in her room. The place smells and patients are all over the place. My friend hasn’t seen her social workers in weeks. Please please please DO NOT take your family to this place if they cannot do for themselves.

Please do not leave your loved ones here. The nurses are terrible, if you can even call them that. They have zero care for your loved ones, diapers never get changed, they will never listen to any of your complaints. My grandma had a faulty wheelchair where her feet dragged on the ground for months before we finally said screw it and bought our own wheelchair for her to use. The facility is not clean for the most part and most nurses are the most rude people I have ever met. I always hear patients screaming for help when I am there. If you can afford to, please do not leave your loved ones here.

My grandma was brought here for physical therapy, immediately after she was discharged from the ICU. This place and it's employees treated my grandmother absolutely horrible. We had to wait nearly half an hour or more just so that my grandmother's diaper could be changed. The CNAs tossed my grandma around as if she was a rag doll, causing her to have breathing difficulties, which led her to wearing an oxygen mask. My grandmother was not receiving the type of food that she was supposed to eat. Because my grandma is diabetic and cannot chew well, she needs to eat food that is low in sugar and requires her to chew a lot less than average. In addition to this, my grandma had a fluid restriction. While having knowledge about my grandma's medical problems, they continuously gave her things that made her worse. After 4 days and 1 night of staying at this facility, my grandma's health immediately deteriorated as a result of their mistreatment and neglect. There was a nurse by the name of Florence, who completely disrespected me and my family. She had refused to give my grandma's legal guardian, my aunt, the medical record that they had on file. There was another nurse, God bless his heart, who attempted to help us but was restricted because of Florence. If you care about your loved ones, please don't bring them here. Everyday that I'm there (7 days a week), I hear patients screaming for someone to help them. This place should be shut down for neglecting it's patients. This place runs on your money. It's like a leech, it tries suck the life (and your wallet) out of you. Please don't ever come here!
