I am fortunate to work with the exceptional caring team in this behavioral health facility. The staff are kind, compassionate and dedicated. The structure and interventions are designed to support mental health rehabilitation to return residents/consumers to independent living. Many have "graduated" and successfully reintegrated in the community.

My son is a disabled veteran with multiple health concerns, including schizophrenia, depression, diabetes, and primary polydipsia, has been cared for at Skokie Meadows for several years now. As his guardian,I am kept well informed about all health issues. They provide regular care plan reviews so we - staff members, my son and I - can discuss his progress and track concerns. He needs 24/7 monitoring, and I have peace of mind, knowing that he is treated with respect at all times, and is in a safe environment. They interface well with the VA, making sure he gets to/from appointments there. I have worked with the same staff members since he became a resident, so staff turnover is very low. We are very pleased with care at Skokie Meadows!

As a long term resident here, I owe a great deal to Skokie Meadows. Thanks to them a latent case of prostate cancer ,which has been in remission for 13 years now, was discovered and treated.And a case of Hepatitis C was successfully cured . And the main reason I'm here, for a mental health issue is being treated successfully by a fine staff of professionals , ranging from social workers to nurses to Doctors. It's a very clean, neat facility and I'm very happy to have found it.

I have had experience with Skokie Meadows for about 15 years. The entire staff is competent and very caring. I have had dealings with other nursing homes, and while good, never quite measure up the cleanliness and care at Skokie Meadows.

This facility is exceptional. The staff is easily accessible and provides outstanding care. Having been involved for over twenty years, I can attest that there have been no incidents. In contrast, my aunt was in another facility and unfortunately passed away due to inadequate care within six months. Skokie Meadows is remarkable and stands apart from other facilities. I am deeply grateful to them for their dedicate d care of my father.
