Thanks for all of the amazing care and rehabilitation my mom received at Pines Edge at North Hill. Every aspect of her stay was superb, the physical and occupational therapy, comfortable room, and the warmth of the small home concept. The entire team was attentive to my mom's needs and our frequent visits. Call outs to every soul who made her stay excellent, the front desk greetings, the professional and caring nursing staff, PT and OT team, the personal care attendants, cooks and servers, the hairdressers, and the activities and enrichment crew. My mom is settling in nicely, and compares, frequently, all the good services and food she received at Pines Edge. She was sad to leave and will always have Pines Edge on the back of her mind. I want to thank you personally for your advocacy and attentiveness for my mom's rehabilitation. You were responsive immediately to my inquiries about availability for my mom's rehabilitation and remained in touch while she had her lengthy recovery in the hospital. Knowing she had a room waiting and good care ahead brought us incredible relief during a very trying period. Seeing my mom, in comfort in her Pines Edge room on the first day was the first time we could relax and see a pathway to recovery. We all speak highly of Pines Edge and the rehabilitation services.

The Pines Edge Rehab at North Hill is truly a five-star facility. The staff, service, physical therapy, and food were all outstanding. What truly stood out was the responsiveness and level of care from everyone—always prompt, professional, and compassionate. I am deeply grateful for the exceptional support throughout my stay.

This place is a utopia for retirees. My parents live there, are having an outrageous amount of fun, and making me want to retire early! The facilities are beautiful, clean, light-filled, and modern; full of plants, books, art, and thoughtful touches like a cafe for your (free) afternoon cappuccino. There are endless activities -- swimming, pool volleyball, gym competitions, studio art, singing, musicals, lectures, dances, staff appreciation events, celebrations of all kinds. They're constantly learning, growing, trying new things, and making new friends. There's a perfect blend of privacy and community; independence and support. Everyone has their own apartment with a small kitchen if they feel like eating in, but there's lovely common dining, with wine, excellent chefs, and made-to-order food. The wonderful staff checks in with everyone daily to make sure that folks are safe and healthy, and is available for more intensive care as needed, but is otherwise there to do the little things that make life a lot easier, like weekly cleaning of the apartments. We need many, many more places like this for all phases of life. I'm grateful to North Hill for taking such good care of my family.

I have lived at North Hill for over 6 years and I have experienced both Independent Living as well as rehab at Pines Edge. This is the best gift I have given my children. They are relieved knowing that I am a very happy “camper.” I am socially active, having made wonderful new friends, attending and participating in so varied activities, giving back to this wonderful community and receiving in turn incredible kindness and support from residents and team members alike. After hip replacement surgery followed by a spontaneous fracture, I spent a total of 6 weeks in rehab at Pines Edge. There too the physical set up was conducive to comfort and recovery, OT and PT were fantastic, and all other team members were caring, cheerful and helpful. I’m back in my beautiful apartment again, receiving North Hill PT care in my apartment, eating the wonderful made to order food, and generally returning to and appreciating so much of what North Hill has to offer.
