About Silverado Bellevue Memory Care Community

Silverado Bellevue Highlights

Now serving residents from Seattle, Kirkland, Redmond, Renton and surrounding areas, the Silverado Bellevue Memory Care Community is more than just assisted living. It is a specialized memory care community dedicated to enriching life for the memory impaired.

Why Choose Silverado?

Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.

We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (425) 559-9115 and schedule a time to visit.

We look forward to meeting you soon.

Memory Care Assisted Living

When living at home is no longer an option for a loved one it doesn’t mean that their days at home are over – all it means is that it’s time for a different home.

Silverado’s dedication to providing for the needs of memory-impaired residents means that we are more than just assisted living. Specializing in memory care and dementia care allows us to provide for residents whose needs have grown beyond what more generalized senior living communities offer. Our philosophy is built around offering a comfortable environment staffed with skilled professionals who deliver the best care possible, enriching lives and focusing on the wellbeing of residents’ minds, spirits and bodies.

Respite Care

Respite care can help caregivers avoid the phenomenon known as caregiver burnout by providing temporary care for loved ones in a safe, engaging environment.

Being a caregiver for a loved one brings many stresses and often leads to caregiver burnout. Having the time to do things such as travel, run errands or even catch up on sleep can be vital to avoiding burnout, keeping healthy and maintaining the ability to deliver the best care.
Respite Care’s Benefits

Available on a per-location basis, Flex Care gives memory-impaired individuals an opportunity to experience the world-class care of a Silverado community while their loved ones receive respite care’s benefits. Whether staying for a day of flexible care or overnight, our flexible care program offers all the benefits that define Silverado’s life-enriching care:

Industry-leading clinical care, which offers around-the-clock licensed nursing to address any level of need. Silverado associates are also highly skilled in memory care and trained to provide gentle redirection, behavior management, medication oversight and comprehensive care that incorporates fall and injury prevention programs.

A nurturing environment that encourages associates to bring their children to work, which creates a family atmosphere; provides community pets for unconditional affection and companionship; and promotes a model of care that centers on choice, connection and purposeful engagement.

Participation in engagement programs and community outings that are specifically designed for those with memory impairment, to encourage group involvement around similar interests. This in turn, helps individuals remain physically and mentally active by inspiring interests and promoting new skill sets.

Gourmet menus that are both nutritious and appetizing. Silverado’s culinary team prepares meals made from scratch, which incorporate fresh fruits and vegetables, specialty entrée items and themed menu options. Additionally, guests can always help themselves to any snacks from the fully-stocked bistros and country kitchens.

About Us

At Silverado, we believe dignity and respect are cornerstones of a happy, worthwhile existence. There is no higher praise for us than the smile of a happy patient, the thanks of a relieved loved one or the revitalized embrace of an engaged resident.

Our commitment to caring is something shared by every member of the Silverado family, and it is at the heart of how we operate. Silverado team members choose to join our family based on their desire to be a part of something that makes lives better. In many cases, they have experience with close family members requiring additional levels of care, so they understand the challenges and concerns that come with entrusting a loved one’s care to another.

From our executives to our nurses, from culinary staff to administrators, there is a common core belief: “Everyone deserves a good quality of life.” This is the culture of Silverado, and it has helped us bring greater respect and dignity to every life we touch.

I had the privilege of touring Silverado Bellevue as a community partner. Silverado Bellevue truly stood out to me for its home-like environment, sense of normalcy, and dignity in every aspect in care.
In many communities, the dining or activity area can feel overstimulating, with the TV constantly on. Hallways may feel dim, outdoor access can be limited, pets are not meaningfully integrated into daily life, and kitchen areas may be restricted or locked away.
At Silverado Bellevue, I was immediately impressed by the thoughtful physical design choices that support true dignified normalcy. Both floors have the same layout. Outdoor can be freely accessed unless it's harsh weather. A cutie dog is loving cared for by a resident and has free-roaming privilege. Kitchen area can be accessed at will and fridge is stocked with yummy treats. The environment felt well-lit, open, and intentionally created for people living with dementia, not just as a place of care, but as a place of living.
Mitchell, the Life Enrichment Director, brings such thoughtful energy to resident engagement, and Ed, the Community Relations Director, was welcoming and kind. It was clear from my visit that the team cares deeply about dignity, normalcy, independence, and quality of life.

Having to place a loved one in memory care is one of the hardest things anyone can face. I’ve had to make that heartbreaking decision twice—first for my husband, who had FTD/ALS, and later for my momma, who lived with complex vascular dementia. Silverado exceeded every expectation. Their staff is truly extraordinary. They are not only highly trained in the complexities of dementia and neurological conditions, but they approach every interaction with patience, dignity, and genuine compassion. They take time to understand each resident as a whole person—who they were, what comforts them, and what brings them moments of joy. Whether it's medical care, emotional support, or simply offering a warm smile, the team consistently goes above and beyond. They also support families in a way that feels rare. They listen, guide, reassure, and help you navigate moments that can feel overwhelming. I always felt informed, included, and supported—never alone in the process. There isn’t another place in the world I would trust more with my loved ones. The staff at Silverado is absolutely amazing, and their dedication makes all the difference!!

I am a retired nurse currently working as a private nurse, healthcare manager, and caregiver for several clients in the Bellevue area. I was employed for 18+ years in Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. I have known about Silverado for a long time and was excited when they decided to build a community in Bellevue. In April of 2025, one of my clients asked me for recommendations for Memory Care for their beloved Mother and Wife. I enthusiastically recommended Silverado. After doing their due diligence and visiting other places, they too realized that there is no comparison and we moved her to Silverado! I currently spend 2 or 3 days every week visiting with her and other residents and can honestly say, it is a delight! The kindness, caring, and compassion of all the staff is evident. Caregivers, housekeepers, maintenance, kitchen and activities all are engaging, and happy to go the extra mile. Nursing staff provide thoughtful and dedicated care to all the residents and the Physical Therapists appear to work miracles! I have witnessed residents in wheelchairs and within a week or two, are walking independently. Kristena, the manager, is amazing and a leader in the field. Always available to answer questions, help with concerns, and talk. If you are looking for the perfect fit for your loved one, a place that provides care, companionship, laughter, and joy, as well as really tasty food, I am confident, without reservation you will find it at Silverado! Sincerely, Shari Cassara

The team at Silverado is amazing and made progress with our Mom when others struggled. They work hard to not only be a great place to be but a great care team to work with.
