My grandpa came home today after his rehab stay at shore gardens. He asked me to write this review because he didn’t have an account. His experience at this facility was great. He said that every staff member was helpful and caring. Tammy, Vickie, Alexa and Michelle were amazing.

Excellent care. Nursing goes above and beyond with phenomenal communication anytime I need it. The activities that they have for their residents surpassed my expectations by far. I would give six stars if I could.

I want to share something I consider very important about one of the technician aides here. I feel this technician needs to be recognized for going so far above and beyond anything which I as a patient could have expected or hoped for my name is Thomas Frank and I am a patient here. The technician I am referring to is named Chris. Chris has done so much in caring for me! He has shown me kindness and compassion beyond what I could ever imagine! I am forever grateful to Chris and will never forget him. Please recognize Chris! Shore gardens is blessed to have Chris on staff Thank you Chris. Thomas a Frank United States Army veteran retired Additional comment I wanted to add on to my post because there have been several people who have gone above and beyond such as Danielle who always dresses exquisitely which most of the people here do but she is so kind another one who is always dressed so nice and I know her name is Brittany. Britney is someone I wanted to mention she is very kind and caring compassionate And always goes above and beyond in her responses ! when I have asked for any assistance she is always there.! Thank you Brittany ! I hope both you and Danielle are recognized and shown appreciation I want to mention Chris again who I have mentioned often. Today he went above and beyond again by helping me in giving me a haircut that was months past due! Again this is something that he is not required or asked to do. It is something he has taken upon himself out of his kind and caring persona. I could never repay everyone here for all they have done. Thank you to everyone and including those I have failed to mention please forgive me. There is one other person I have to mention now and that is Erin!!! There have been so many times I needed assistance or just someone to speak to for help locating the correct person. I would call the desk and Erin would help me and it often required her to make additional phone calls and she was always pleasant and never complained about anything I asked. I ask that the facility recognize these wonderful people. And of course people I have mentioned in the past such as Meg who even though she is on a different floor never fails to come and see how I am doing! And Eden who always lifts me up when I feel despair and others such as Janet and nurses like RJ and Kathy and Diane and tin and Pam the problem is I'm leaving some people out but not because of intention because I have just forgotten some of them and thank you too Mr woods and Omar and others God bless you all I will always remember you and keep you in my prayers with love I remain Thomas Frank United States Army retired Omar has done so much it has gone so far above what I would expect of any CNA please make sure that he is recognized. Along with everyone I have mentioned here Thank you again to Chris and Eden and Omar and Mr woods and Vinny and Dan and Ava and everyone else that I would need three more pages to write their names but special gratitude must be mentioned to the first person who welcomed me and helped me and that was Meg on the second floor thank you all and God bless you Thomas Frank United States Army retired I do not know how to start a new review so I want to just mention something here. I know I have said how much I appreciate love and respect my dear aid Meg. Although she is not really assigned to me there is not a day goes by that she does not come to see me to ask if I need anything and to check on me and to offer care for me. I will never forget her and the facility should be grateful to have her. May God bless her and protect her. Thank you Meg! I love you for all you do for me which is much more than I deserve. God bless you always! I want to offer additional thanks to Derek and to Omar. They are both phenomenal CNAs who go above and beyond each and every day. I am grateful to both Derek and Omar. Shore Gardens almost killed my father today by overdosing him with the wrong medication bcuz the nurse Cathy did not read his chart correctly. Also my mom went to see my father only to find him in filth. This facility should be shut down bcuz like every nursing home they don’t care about your family member. These nurses or aides don’t have any humility, humanity or compassion. They all should go back to school to relearn bcuz they forget why they chose this line of work. Disgusting!

This place is absolute trash. I would you to not even click on the link to view the establishment because it’s a waste of time and could potentially put your loved ones in more harm or danger. My father has been a resident of the facility for 2-3 weeks now. He had a stroke disabling his left side so he can only use his right, which means he’s at constant fall risk. Instead of following guidelines and making sure the patients are as safe as possible they chose to. It put his bed rails on and he fell out of his bed hitting his head. He has pneumonia again, due to them not suctioning his trachea tube as frequently as they should. I wish I had trusted my gut when I looked at the place to begin with as many negative reviews as they have. Again, please don’t send your family here. I’m contacting a lawyer immediately, please move your family members this place needs to be shut down.
