The shadow side of my mere mortal self wanted to keep this gem a secret so my loved ones could get in more easily if/when they ever needed it. However, my light/spiritual side knows better and understands the spiritual principle, ‘You get back what you put out.’ So let me try to put into words what a healing haven this amazing facility is… My precious sister recently fell incurring very serious fractures in her right leg/ankle (which required surgery). She also has other medical issues making her a more complex patient. None of this was too much for this very adept, professional staff and my sister is recovering, blossoming actually, from their care. This google review would become a tome if I mentioned by name all the incredible staff that have made such a positive difference in my sister’s and my life (peace knowing she’s cared for so well). I’m going to to mention a few anyway (the rest of you please forgive my attempted brevity here and know that we love you and many prayers and blessings are coming your way too) - nurses April, Kristina, Priscilla, Levy; aides Rommel, Shirley, Jamie, Sarah; PT/OTs Jovin, Jim, Richard, Kristen, Jennifer. Housekeepers, kitchen staff, the enrichment crew, Aldo in maintenance, the gals in Social Work, the DON, the Administrator, all, truly all, pitch in and put the patients/residents first, treating them with compassion, respect, kindness, and optimal care. I learned a term in college (I’m a RN and Social Worker of many moons) which I love to this day - it’s ‘sine qua non.’ It means an indispensable element, an essential thing, something cannot be without this - which is so applicable to the healing and rehabilitation provided by this facility and it’s extraordinary staff.
