Please stay away from this place. My mom and dad passed after they were there for just 3 months. My mom was an independent person walking until she fell. When she fell, they put her in a wheelchair and never took her out. Because my mom passed away December 9th, they are prorating her time there and have yet to pay me back. Please be wary of this place. Whenever you call, they are in meetings. They are fast to take your money, but when they owe it to you back you're going to wait forever. We are already 5 months since my parents passed. Both of them died in December. Their food sucks too. My dad would not eat it. I had to bring him food. My mom's bed literally had shit on it. My uncle was the one who saw it. They leave the residents wet. Supposed to check on them every hour. Well I had to buy cameras cause it wasn't happening. My sister and I would have to call the director to get someone to help tend to my parents.

My father has been in Shavano Park Senior Living and Memory Care for over a year now and my family and I are VERY pleased with his care. Thank you Gracie for checking in on him so regularly. We appreciate you and the rest of the staff. 😀

It’s only been one month in memory care for both my in laws and their quality of life has already greatly improved! From personal hygiene, nutritious food, taking their medication, just all of their daily needs…we are so grateful! Christine (director) and her staff have been very supportive and compassionate in helping all of us with this transition. I do hope that they get additional help for Christine as she seems to have her hands full, but even so, she always responds to us timely and makes sure to address any questions or concerns. Also, props to LaKeisha, she brings such joy, she makes my MIL smile!

Assisted Living and Memory Care at Shavano Park are amazing facilities. The rooms and environment are great. The activities are carefully planned to match the needs of the residents. However, the BEST part of Shavano Park is the Staff. From Heather, the Executive Director, to Leesah, the Business Manager, to LaShawn, our Sales/Rental Specialist, and Christine, the Director of Memory Care. Their compassion, patience, and wealth of knowledge and information about senior care are beyond excellent. I now have a parent in Assisted Living and her husband in Memory Care. I see so much comfort and compassion from the Care Teams and Medical Technicians. Shavano Park is the place we have found for our family. Thank thank you, Shavano Park! And thank you for all of you who take such good care of our family!!

Our mother's stay at Shavano Park Senior Living was wonderful. The caregivers are so attentive, personable and thorough in providing all her needs. The meals are wonderful and the facility itself always looks clean. The setting inside and out are beautiful. After experience a horrific stay at her first assisted living facility we were impressed and completely confident we made the right move relocating her to Shavano Park Senior Living. There are not enough or strong enough words to accurately capture the appreciation we feel for every staff member there that made her time there so wonderful for there. This is a place where families can feel confident their loved one will receive excellent care.
