If I could give the Estates at Shavano Park more than 5 stars, I absolutely would .
Finding a skilled nursing facility and long term care for a loved one is one of the most emotional and difficult decisions a family can make.
From the moment we arrived the entire team and staff made us feel welcome. EVERY person - from the nurses and CNA's to therapy, housekeeping, dietary, activities and administration has treated my mom with patience, respect and incredible compassion.
The staff truly sees the residents as people, not just patients. They take the time to learn their personalities, comfort them, encourage them, and care for them as if they were their own family. That means more than words can express.
The facility is very clean and well maintained and has a warm inviting atmosphere. Communication has been excellent and I have always felt that my questions or concerns were heard and addressed.
The Estates at Shavano Park has truly been such a huge blessing for me and my mom and I will forever be grateful to the staff and administrators. I wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend this place to any family looking for an exceptional skilled nursing or long term care for someone they love.

Very nice place. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Roxanne is very helpful with any questions I have, and checks in throughout the day. You don’t smell any bad smells you run into at some other places. Food is great and so is the care. Therapy is wonderful here. I’m recommending for anyone I know needing this type of care in the future.
