We had a wonderful time offering ice cream to the residents and staff. Smoky Mountain Hospice was glad to give back to our wonderful veterans and those that serve them.

If your loved one requires assistance with eating or drinking while here, the CNAs make little effort to help and instead let the patient become dangerously dehydrated. This was confirmed by ER doctors at a nearby hospital.<br><br>CNAs and management have little incentive to care because Tennessee law makes it nearly impossible to sue any nursing home.<br><br>There are much better facilities in Knoxville that employ staff who care.
