Moving a loved one into assisted living can be emotional, but the team here made the experience so much easier. I’d especially like to recognize Ashley, who was incredibly compassionate, patient, and thorough in answering all of my questions along the way. She treated my mom with dignity and genuine care and made our entire family feel supported throughout the process.<br><br>It gives me real peace of mind knowing my mom is here in such a caring and supportive community. It’s clear they truly care about their residents and their families. Thank you, Ashley and team—we’re very grateful!

The most wonderful place. Ashley was way more than anyone I have ever met. I could not have done this without her. She was phenomonial I am so glad she is here. My overall experience as a resident at Select Senior Living has been very positive. Over the past year, the addition of new directors has made a noticeable and welcome difference in the community.<br><br>Ashley, the Marketing Director, is truly exceptional. She consistently goes above and beyond to support residents, always greeting everyone with a smile and demonstrating incredible patience and care. No concern ever feels too big or too small for her attention. Ashley is a tremendous asset to Select Senior Living and is respected and appreciated by residents and staff alike.<br><br>Eric, the Maintenance Director, and his maintenance team are also outstanding. They respond promptly to requests, are highly accommodating, and take pride in their work. Kim, my housekeeper, does a wonderful job and works very hard, her efforts do not go unnoticed.<br><br>Maliki and Shawn, both nurse aides, have been a pleasure to work with and also go above and beyond to support the resident's. They are attentive, compassionate, and consistently go above and beyond in their roles.<br><br>Jameel in culinary and his staff are excellent and take our feedback and implement changes as needed which is appreciated. The servers seem happy to be here. My only recommendation would be to have the dining room open and available at all times.<br><br>There are a few areas where improvements could enhance the overall experience. It would be beneficial for the Nursing Director, Katie to spend more time out on the floor interacting with residents, as increased visibility could help strengthen connections and communication. There are some of us that have not met her.<br><br>Additionally, some residents have expressed that the Executive Director, Vanessa, can feel unapproachable at times or that things get swept under the rug and will be dealt with at a later time and then there is no follow up. Creating more open lines of communication and building trust with residents could greatly improve this perception.<br><br>The activities department led by Renee offers some enjoyable options, particularly outings, but the overall calendar could benefit from more variety, especially on weekends. Introducing more diverse and mentally stimulating activities, along with opportunities like a general support group (not limited to grief), could help residents connect more deeply. Having access to a chaplain or pastor would also be a meaningful addition to the community. They have recently implemented an AA support group and it has been going really well. I also enjoy the bible study that myself and another resident lead.<br><br>Finally, having a member of the leadership team available or on-call during weekends and nights would be reassuring, as issues can arise outside of weekday hours and waiting until Monday can be stressful and some folks suffer with dementia and may not remember all the details days later. A contact list of who to reach out to if there is an issue could be a great benefit.<br><br>Overall, my experience here has been good, and with a few thoughtful improvements, it has the potential to become truly excellent. It is also great that they support residents on low income and work with the waiver's. I know in my experience before moving here, the options were very limited.<br><br>Shout out to the staff that go above and beyond each and every day. Highly recommend checking out our beautiful community, the rooms are spacious while maintaining a community but family type atmosphere.

Working with Ashley to help arrange a possible move in of a relative has been nothing short of amazing. She has shown great professionalism, compassion and empathy. She has also demonstrated patience and clear guidance on possibilities and next steps, listening carefully to questions and providing information in a timely and helpful manner. It is apparent as we toured the facility that she is appreciated by so many residents and family members whom we crossed paths with in just a short time. The facility is impressive, but even if it had come across as "average", knowing Ashley is present to help residents would put this facility at the top of our list!

My experience was so pleasant. Ashley explained everything clearly so that I understood all the financial part and the living. It seems like a cozy place to be.
