After spending more than three months at this rehabilitation facility, our family has nothing but gratitude for the care my father received. Placing a loved one in the care of others is never easy, but from the very beginning, we felt that he was in good hands. The nurses and CNAs were truly wonderful. They were kind, attentive, patient, and always willing to help. What stood out most was the consistency of the care. Over the course of such a long stay, we came to know many members of the team, and we could always count on them to be responsive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my father’s comfort and well-being. The administration team was equally exceptional. They were always available, communicative, and quick to address any questions or concerns. We never felt overlooked, and the staff made a real effort to keep us informed and involved. The small acts of kindness shown by the nurses, CNAs, therapists, and staff made a lasting impact on our family. They treated my father with dignity and respect, and knowing he was comfortable and cared for brought us tremendous peace of mind during a challenging time. A stay of more than three months is a long journey, and the consistency, professionalism, and compassion we experienced throughout that time meant everything to us. We are incredibly thankful for the care my father received and would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where patients are truly cared for like family. ❤️

Our experience at this nursing home was truly wonderful, and our family is so grateful for the care and support my mother received. The nursing staff was exceptional — always kind, patient, attentive, and willing to help no matter how busy things were. It gave us so much comfort knowing she was treated with genuine care and compassion every single day. The rehab team was equally amazing. They were knowledgeable, encouraging, and motivating throughout the entire process. Their dedication and positive attitude helped build both strength and confidence, and we were so happy to see steady progress because of their hard work and support. A very special thank you to Administrator Isaac for his leadership and professionalism, and to the incredible 1 West team — especially Lucianna, Emma, and their entire staff — for going above and beyond every day. Their kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care made such a difference for both my mother and our family. You can truly feel how much they care about the residents. What stood out most was how personal and heartfelt the care felt. Everyone treated my mother with dignity, kindness, and respect, which meant so much to our family during this time. My Mom Dorothy has been a resident for about 3 years. She had been here before and came back after a 5 week stay at another facility. We were not happy with that facility and came back. We were welcomed back by all. I know it has taken a while to write the review. All of the staff are wonderful. I don't want too name any as I don't want to leave anyone out. The nursing staff attend to all her needs and always call me when there are any concerns. My concerns are addressed as well . Also all the other departments contact me when they have any concerns and I really appreciate that as well. Recreation keep them busy all day with many different programs and she loves her Bingo. They do not have this at other facilities . She also comments on how she likes the food and it is a diversified menu. Loves the brunch!!! All the departments show a genuine concern for my Mom and they always go out of their way to say "Hi " to her and ask how she is doing. They also make the family members feel welcome and go out of their way to say "Hi" to us as well. She is only on a maintenance program with rehab but they do monitor her. Rehab was very receptive to her needs when she was on the regular program. Administration also addresses any concerns that I have and are available to assist when necessary. We are lucky to have found such a caring facility providing great care. I have recommended this facility to others .

My mother has been to Sands Point rehabilitation several and each time has been a wonderful experience. Isaac, the director of Sands Point Rehab and Nursing Home, truly embodies what it means to lead with compassion and dedication. The staff, including the remarkable CNA Lamour and Michelle at the front desk, go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels valued and cared for. Having entrusted my mother to Sands Point multiple times, I can confidently say that the level of care is exceptional. Each member of the team is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the residents. It’s heartwarming to witness how the staff treats each resident with dignity and respect, making every effort to cater to their individual needs.
