Under staffed and the staff they do have are under trained who work with memory care patients. Management needs total replacement. They are rude. Weekends are really bad. The smell in common room is bad. One worker told me that there just weren’t enough people to be able to change or help the residents. One day when I showed up there was a women in bed with my loved one. He was unable to walk and confined to bed, but this resident wandered in and climbed in bed with him. Who knows when the workers would have found them. They hide information of issues in Memory care like people falling and breaking bones so they won’t be investigated. On Christmas last year, there was an elderly man face down in the table in the common room. I found out that he died two days later because he had fallen out of his bed a few days before and management did not want to call the hospital to check him out. They have had several DFACS investigations still ongoing. I could go on and on….Do your research!!
