We found Atlantic Shores Rehab to be awesome! My mother was well cared for, she was bathed daily, and her room and surroundings were kept clean. Most importantly all staff were top notch, very friendly, and professional. My family and I felt they took exceptional care of our mother. We are a loud family and my dad doesn't hear well, plus my sister's are the type to ask so many questions that my head was spinning. Everyone there was very patient with us and so supportive. We really can't thank them enough. A huge thank you to all and a hug from the Smith family. (Yes, that's our real name!) 😄

Atlantic Shores, is very short staffed in my opinion. This leads to patients having to wait extended periods of time to get the help and meds they need. You really need to check in frequently on your loved one. Some patients seem to be left uncared for as they should be. At times the nurses have to do much of the CNA responsibilities. Seems there is slow response time in getting meds ordered or getting doctor approval for things that are required. The nursing staff really try, but seem overwhelmed with so many patients and not much help. I had to ask for things that should be normal nursing home items. I believe the facility is trying, but are missing the mark, and seem unprepared to care for patients with multiple health issues who also need rehab services. I was left with an uneasy feeling when leaving the home after visiting.

My neighbor recently went to Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehab for rehabilitation after a fractured hip, and our experience was very positive. The therapy services were excellent and played a huge role in her recovery. The food was consistently good, which made her stay much more comfortable. As a retired RN, I pay close attention to the level of care provided, and I was truly impressed by the professionalism, attentiveness, and compassion of the staff. The overall care at this facility is great, and I would confidently recommend Atlantic Shores Nursing and Rehab to anyone in need of quality rehabilitation services.

I cannot say enough great things about this skilled nursing facility. From the very beginning, the admissions coordinator was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and supportive, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and reassuring. The nursing staff provides excellent care with compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern for residents’ well-being. The facility itself is always clean, well-maintained, and feels safe and welcoming. It’s clear that the staff truly care about the people they take care of, and that makes all the difference. I highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of skilled nursing care.
