When we began searching for a facility for our mom in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area, we toured several places, including Melbourne Terrace. It is a beautiful facility and very very clean. Initially, we were concerned and hesitant after seeing an abuse symbol associated with this facility. Initially, we were concerned after seeing an abuse symbol associated with the facility. However, after speaking with the Case Manager at Holmes Regional, we learned it was related to an elopement incident—where a patient had exited the building with a family member—not a case of physical abuse. Since choosing Melbourne Terrace three months ago, we’ve been very pleased with the care our mom has received. The staff has been attentive, and the therapy equipment and department is truly one of the best in the area. After touring four different facilities, we’re confident we made the right choice and feel reassured knowing she’s in such capable hands.
