Rosshill Retirement Residence

Rosshill Retirement Residence is an independent living community for seniors located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the North Hills area. Opened in 2005, the four-story building offers both affordable senior units and market-rate apartments, with a total of 94 units comprising 64 one-bedroom and 30 two-bedroom floor plans.

The community features well-designed living spaces with large windows that provide bright, naturally lit interiors. Emergency pull cords in each bathroom and bedroom are connected directly to 911 dispatch, and each unit includes a fully-equipped kitchen for resident use.

Rosshill was designed with energy efficiency as a priority, featuring a solar thermal array on the roof—the largest in Western Pennsylvania—to help reduce energy costs. The building is situated in a highly desirable suburban location perched above the McKnight Road commercial corridor.
