The staff here is genuinely caring, which has been a great comfort to us. My family member has been in long-term care for a year now and is doing well. While the quality of care is strong, the facility does seem understaffed at times, which can lead to some inconsistency. Additionally, I would love to see the rooms feel a bit more 'home-like' and less clinical; a warmer environment would really improve the residents' comfort and overall quality of life.

I wish that I could select -1 stars this entire facility is nothing but liars and manipulators. Suppose to be social worker name Gwen all she does is lie and she isn't even certified she's an assistant but she almost always overstep the actual SW. My dad went an entire shift with no medicine and was later asked if the medication was even administered by the DON no one even came in and checked on my dad the entire night call light remained on for over 30 mins and was told someone had to find the nurse on the hall this was around 830-9 pm on January 1st 2026. Later to find out by my surprise the nurse stole multiple patients medications. I later learned from another staff that nothing happened to the nurse and she returned to work the following day without any disciplinary action also that same staff member said "oh nothing will happen they hide everything here even the fact that the activities lady came in drunk twice around staff and residents". I wouldn't send my dog to this facility. It most definitely needs to be investigated by the state because this is beyond unacceptable. The administration here is a joke they are not in the right business because they have no regard to human life. Therapy was great. Hannah was my favorite she's good at what she does. This building should be closed down.

Well this place is a HOT MESS on the outside of this facility! I am seeing lots of violations inside the facility which they claim they are remodeling with 22 mil non-commercial grade laminate flooring in a Nursing Home which won't last but a year. really they need a new roof you can see the drainage stains remain .apparent that the dry rot is cracking on the exterior of the building...I can smell the black mold inside the walls...

My mom was here for 2 weeks before being sent to Hospice. The nurses, nurse assistants, food service, financial, and other staff were wonderful and took good care of my mother who could not do anything for herself. The only staff that I did not appreciate was the social worker. She was short, dismissive, rude and seemed burned out or just in it for the paycheck. She was not helpful at all. The social worker is the one who is supposed to be helping families during this difficult and scary time but she was not. The building is old and being worked on but it always smelled clean.

My 81 yr old, former mother-in-law, DRye, was here for right at 3.5 weeks for short term inpatient physical therapy after being in the hospital 3 times for falling while having a UTI (Twice at home and once at a different rehab). I can’t say anything but GOOD things about Rocket City Rehab. We toured this facility unannounced when we found out she was getting out of the hospital in Florence, and we were impressed at how they welcomed us. DRye had been in a different PT Rehab in Russellville twice that was not good and ended up in worse condition. She truly excelled at Rocket City Rehab (RCR&H). Only downfall was her insurance wouldn’t let her stay another week which would have been better for her, but that is of no fault of RCR&H. Like at any rehab there are always those their that love their job and those that don’t, and it shows. Many of them are exhausted and can’t get to everyone immediately. That’s understandable, and I will not base this review off of the 1or 2 that didn’t love their job in the bunch. DRye was able to tell us how she felt about the place, and she said she really enjoyed it. The nurses and staff were attentive to her needs and cared for her very well. They communicated with us often on her progress; sometimes we had to ask directly and other times they contacted us. Communication is a two way street and it was just as much our responsibility to ask. We went everyday at different times to visit and always had the same great experience. The physical therapy was top notch. We were able to share our thoughts of the goals we wanted for DRye. They gladly accepted us asking them to work with her on how to be able to get herself up if she fell, but wasn’t injured, by pulling her legs under her and using something stationary to help her stand or sit on. That helped her tremendously!!! They worked with her on other strengthening exercises and in doing occupational therapy. She said the food was good, and she enjoyed the activities see got to attend. She even had her nails and hair done at the on-site salon which made her feel so much better. I also appreciated the fact that it didn’t smell like other facilities that we had been in previously. They were in the process of updating the finishes with new paint and rubber base. We now have a fall detection home monitoring system for her. But overall, if she ended up in this or a similar situation, we wouldn’t hesitate to choose this place again. There were so many staff members from admission to discharged that were wonderful. I wish I could name them all. Photos of her Private Room #105.
