My mom has been social and active in the memory care unit. I truly appreciate each staff member for the kindness and care my mom received. Staff is professional and top notch! Thank you for making my moms life enjoyable again.

We were so nervous about moving our mom into assisted living in October 2025, but from the very beginning, the experience was reassuring. Jennifer was there to guide us every step of the way, helping ease our worries and making the transition so much smoother. Mom has also been in the hospital lately and Jennifer took time out of her day to visit her.

From the moment Mom arrived at Lynridge, she was warmly welcomed by the staff and seated at a dining table where she quickly began meeting what have now become lifelong friends. She truly felt at home within that first week, which meant everything to us.

The nurses are incredibly attentive to her needs and consistently go above and beyond. We especially appreciate Veronica on the weekends—she takes the time to talk with the residents and makes each of them feel valued and special. On days when Mom isn’t feeling her best, the staff gently encourages her and keeps her spirits up.

And we can’t forget the bingo and “bingo bucks” 🤣—it’s one of the highlights of her week! She gets so excited to participate, and it’s wonderful to see her so engaged and happy. Her great-granddaughters love to visit her and talk to the other residents.

We are so grateful for the care, compassion, and sense of community they provide every day.

I needed a facility for my older brother that has memory issues. Jennifer was very informative, gave a very detailed explanation of the ammenities there, and stayed in touch even though there was a delay in getting him moved. The facility is very clean, and all the employees from the maintainance to the nursing staff are very curtious. I had a lot of concerns about moving him to a Memory Care Facility, but so far it has been going well.

Review of Lynridge Assisted Living
I would strongly caution anyone considering Lynridge Assisted Living for a loved one.
My mother was living there and making excellent progress thanks to the outstanding nurses and caregiving staff, who truly cared about her wellbeing. The frontline staff were compassionate, attentive, and doing a fantastic job helping her improve. Unfortunately, the positive work of those caregivers was completely undermined by corporate management.
The problems began when Miranda from corporate became involved. Almost immediately, the focus shifted away from patient care and toward what felt like bureaucratic mandates and financial motivations.
First, we were told my mother needed a different bed. We complied and purchased one.
Next, we were told to install a bed rail, which we did — purchasing a rail specifically certified for elderly care. Then we were told that rail was not acceptable and that it had to be a specific brand (Halo). Again, we complied and purchased the Halo rail they required.
Before we were even given the opportunity to install the Halo rail they insisted on, we were served with an eviction notice.
Meanwhile, their requirements became increasingly unreasonable. They attempted to force us to hire a 24-hour private sitter, even though we were already paying $3,900 per month for an “all-inclusive” assisted living arrangement.
Our senior care advisor even suggested a very common safety practice of placing grip strips on the floor beside the bed to prevent my mother from intentionally sliding herself down to the floor. That suggestion was dismissed outright.
Then things got worse.
Without any explanation or authorization, Lynridge debited $2,280.27 directly from our checking account with no prior notice and no clear accounting of what the charge was for. To this day we still do not have a satisfactory explanation.
The end result was that a vulnerable elderly resident who was improving and receiving excellent care from the nurses was suddenly forced out, seemingly because corporate policies made her less profitable or more complicated than they wanted to deal with.
Let me be very clear:
The nurses and caregivers at Lynridge were wonderful and deserve recognition for the work they do every day.
However, corporate management — particularly Miranda Doiron’s handling of this situation — demonstrated a shocking lack of compassion, transparency, and professionalism.
Families trust assisted living facilities with their loved ones during extremely vulnerable stages of life. Being treated like a financial inconvenience instead of a human being is unacceptable.
If you are considering Lynridge Assisted Living, I strongly recommend asking very detailed questions about their eviction policies, billing practices, and corporate decision-making before placing a family member there.
Our experience was deeply disappointing and incredibly stressful during an already difficult time.
