Have you ever wondered how much it would cost to live at one of these places. Well I found out quickly. My mouth dropped to the floor. Not only do you buy in at a price you would literally pay for a house, but you have to pay monthly rent. Talk about ripping seniors off. No thank you. I will take my house.

As a pillar of the community, the needs and well being of the community should be a priority and they are not consistently prioritized. I am highly disappointed in their lack of professionalism and engagement with other members of the community and will not let anyone I care about stay there.

Before passing recently, my father lived for two years at Riverview Manor, the personal care community of Asbury Riverwoods. Like many people, he was now at the age that even though he preferred to live independently, he needed help from others. The Riverview staff, from nurses to medical aides to dining room cooks, treated him with the respect and dignity he deserved. His room and facilities were very nice and they offered numerous activities to make him feel at home. A Marine Corp vet, they made sure to include him in Veteran Day festivities which made him feel special. Aging can be hard on both the individual and their family, but we felt secure knowing Riverview was taking great care of my father.
