The staff is excellent always so friendly! My dad is there for physical therapy rehab and they take such good care of him and when the family wants to come visit there’s no limits we can have fun and family time! It’s such a nice place to go if you need permanent nursing care or just a temporary physical therapy stay! I 10/10 recommend!

My Father was moved to River Ridge in February and I honestly have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of care. I'm kept up to date on all appointments and medical concerns, procedures, and any test results. Also Ron in the physical therapy department has been amazing and my Dad has shown so much progress since admission to your facility. Thank you to all the amazing staff at River Ridge. The best part of River Ridge Nursing Home is their discharge planner Shannon, their social work department, and their admission department. They always go above and beyond to make sure their residents get discharge safely and with the proper services. I often work very closely with them. When appropriate, they send me referrals at Marquis Home Care for their residents that are in need of Home Health Care Aide services. Not only do they send me the referral, they share as much information about the client as possible. You can really feel the love and care they have for their job and their clients.

Hello I want to share my opinion about the care and safety of RiverRidge. My sister is in there as I speak so I’m afraid to actually tell you the way I feel about certain people in charge. My sister has been there about three weeks with one week sent back to St. Mary’s Hospital. Sunday I showed up at River Ridge to walk my sister around the ground because of the beautiful weather and I know she wants to get out of that room. Shes there for rehabilitation.. When I showed up, she had told me that she had a mess and that she needed to be cleaned up. I went out and let the nurses know.. Mind you there was four nurses sitting around the desk I can count five alarms going off. I waited another 15 minutes still no one to see about my sister so I went back out and I said wow all these alarms going off like I was confused.. No, instead I went out to the car My and got my sister a change of clothes when I returned they had four girls in their working on my sister and cleaning her up. I said no more. In fact, I was happy about it and started asking the nurses will since you’re cleaning her up can you put these clothes on her.. Instead, the supervisor or a person in charge showed up and attempted to start a huge argument and yelled up and down the hallway about my question a while all these alarms going on and why my sister had to sit there for a half hour in our own mess I was then told by the supervisor to get out and do not come back and I only had a minute to do so or they were calling the police. In all my day, I’ve never seen anything like that. I am 67 years old and she practically ran me down the hallway while I was carrying my oxygen tank so I can breathe. Needless to say I called up the police myself and explained it to them. Now today, it was very different very very different. There were two ladies on duty Savannah and Melody. I think they were related mother and daughter. These two ladies went above and beyond what was asked for him and treated My sisterwith so much respect and taking care of her that I have to say thank you thank you very much. I don’t believe all of the staff is like the ones that were on Sunday, including. Management with two thumbs up savannah and MelodyThe weekly staff and the therapist doctors nurses go above and beyond what they are required, and my sister’s healing very fast. Yes, I highly recommend RiverRidge. For rehabilitation for your loved one. When I seen this I I tend to believe. That staff member ( Rebecca) I think her name. Should never be Management because she isn’t Management material by four. Thank you very much to all the other staff and employees. One week later After this happened I have a lot more to add. Like I said my loved one is still in this place and I wish no harm in retaliation.

My father has been a resident since February 2025, he has fallen in his room 10 times since. On Sunday 2/15/26 he fell and he said he was on the floor calling for help for 6 hours. I received no phone call from the facility that this occurred. He has several bruises on his arm from the fall and was exhausted choosing to stay in bed the following Tuesday. I have been calling the facility and trying to reach the Administrator and the Nursing Director, I would like them to look into this. To date no one has attempted to return my call and just tell me they were looking into this incident. I am puzzled why the Administrator and Nursing Director are choosing not to respond. Either they are incapable of basic human empathy, have no basic communication skills or the are so far over their heads in a job they have no business holding. Any well run organization leads from the top down. If it were possible I would have left a negative star review instead of giving this place a 1 star.
