Rehab is not fun ... but the care of patients makes up for it . I could nit pick but that would be petty considering how well they do in making sure their patients are healing. This is not an easy task .. but they are good at it. Less kind comments on the food.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for two members of staff who provided exceptional care during ing my client's two week stay at your facility.<br><br>The Physiotherapist, Shannon, was highly professional, encouraging and very patient with my client, which helped them regain confidence and make steady progress.<br><br>I would also like to give special recognition to Kharrie Paige (CNA) who was truly outstanding. Whilst all staff were caring and supportive, Kharrie always went above and beyond in providing compassionate , attentive and person-centered care.<br><br>Both individuals are a credit to the facility but Kharrie's exceptional level of care and commitment deserves particular acknowledgement. Their compassion and professionalism exemplify the very highest standards of patient care.

My stay at Rittenhouse Post Acute Care, located at 1800 Lombard Street, was from May 29 through June 12. My very first day was difficult because the hospital in Pennsylvania had informed me that my narcotic pain medication would already be available at the rehabilitation center, but there was a delay. Due to my major back surgery, I arrived in a great deal of pain.<br><br>Once I explained the situation to the nursing staff, they immediately contacted the doctors and worked quickly to resolve the issue so I could finally receive some relief. I truly appreciated how seriously they took my pain and concerns.<br><br>The care provided at the facility was professional, attentive, and compassionate. Some of the staff members who stood out the most to me were Yvette, Crystal, Nairah, Mañana, Brandon, Jose, and their supervisor. I was also introduced to Darrel, the administrator, and April, the director. Everyone treated me with kindness, respect, and patience, and they genuinely wanted to help resolve the issues I was experiencing.<br><br>Once communication was established and everything was addressed, my transition became much smoother. The building was always very clean, and whenever I needed assistance, staff members were available and willing to help.<br><br>I would also like to recognize the physical therapy team — Paris, Shannon, and Kenyata — for their kindness, encouragement, and professionalism. They taught me important techniques and exercises that helped me transition safely and continue caring for myself after my major back surgery.<br><br>Overall, despite the rough beginning, my experience improved greatly because of the staff’s compassion, teamwork, and dedication to patient care.

My mother was admitted to this rehabilitation center on Wednesday, and as of Monday, she still cannot turn on the lights in her room because one of the fixtures continuously strobes. According to a manager, Jose, the issue has been reported to a third-party facilities team, but no resolution has been provided. For a facility caring for individuals who require a safe environment, being unable to use the room lights for five days is unacceptable.<br><br>Additionally, management appears to have little regard for patient privacy and HIPAA. Staff frequently leave doors open, and we have repeatedly overheard information about other patients that should not be publicly discussed. I will not share those details here, but if anyone monitoring these reviews or overseeing this facility would like specific examples, I am willing to provide them.<br><br>I have already escalated my concerns to the nurse manager and have yet to see any improvement. Unfortunately, that leaves me no choice but to share this experience publicly in the hope that it leads to action. Patients deserve a safe, respectful environment.
