**In addition to missed meals these residents have now been without hot water for 2 weeks!! They have not been able to bathe properly for two weeks!! Is this really the place you would want your loved ones to be?<br><br>*More missed meals for my friend!! Later in the day she rang the buzzer, no one came for an hour! When they did come they had a terrible attitude!! I certainly do not believe she is the only resident that is experiencing this absolutely unacceptable treatment!!<br><br>My friend has been a resident at this location for a couple of years. There have been numerous times she has not received her meal! When she asks about it they say the kitchen is closed. Then... they may or may not bring her a sandwich! She certainly deserves every single one of her meals!!! She has been told that "they" (Restoration Senior Living) are not over the kitchen! Their website clearly states under Services and Amenities *"Customized and private dining options with personalized menus to meet dietary needs". My friend should not have to EVER worry if she might not be provided a meal at Restoration Senior Living!!!

My mother in law was given the best care at Restoration. The entire staff understood her needs and treated her like family. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. Placing a loved one in assisted living is never an easy decision but the staff at Restoration made the transition effortless.

I would never recommend Restoration at Simpsonville. I had a loved one there for 10 months in Memory Care from the Fall of 2024 to Summer 2025. Then I moved my loved one to another memory Care facility in the area. After only a week I was appalled with myself that I didn't move them sooner.

It is with sadness I write this honest and transparent review because I did everything possible to give Restoration the time to correct the many inadequacies their facility failed to provide for My Loved One while being a Resident for only 2 1/2 months. After three weeks of her being there and at least 3 called meetings with the Directors, Head Nurse, etc., I knew that this was not the facility for them because they were not receiving the care needed for a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. Therefore, I do not recommend anyone placing their loved one in this facility because the majority of the staff is lackadaisical, some appear to be mean spirited, they are understaffed, and the skill set was less than subpar. It’s so sad because Restoration could be one of the leading Assisted Living & Memory Care Facilities in the Upstate but Corporate continues to not make the urgent decisions for change.
