My mother had a wonderful experience at Remington. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent to her. She is 93 and broke 5 ribs. She had wonderful physical therapists! Gary and Ginger were fantastic! They really helped her. Her occupational therapist, I think her name was Lena, was really sweet and so helpful. Plus her everyday nurses aides, Emanuel, William and Hannah, were fantastic! They helped her with everything. I so appreciate their help with all they did for my mother. I have nothing but good things to say. It’s all about trust and I really trusted all of the wonderful staff with my mother.

I have being in and out of rehab several times since April. I'm so glad I found Remington Transitional center. The employees are so friendly. When.i left there, I felt like I was leaving my family. Also I was very pleased with the looks of the place.

My dad is currently staying here at Remington... the worst place we could have chosen! Believe me, this was not our first choice, but there were no beds available at our first Choice.<br><br>On day 1, the nurse showed up 2 hours late! Her name was Gloria, very rude when she came in the room, did not introduce herself to me nor did she Introduce herself to the patient, (My Dad) nor did she apologize for her tardiness. While we were waiting for her to show up we are hearing another patient screaming for help for about 10 minutes before anyone came to help her. The room was not clean when we arrived. We asked 3 workers if we could have some whips to clean my dad's room, they didn't have any, so we had to leave and purchase some ourselves.<br><br>My dad was there 6 days before they gave him a bath, we ask on day 1, we asked on day 2, on day 3 we asked the tech again, when will my dad get a bath, she said she is the only tech working and she has other patients. That makes no sense at all. so, patients have to stay dirty because Remington is short staffed!<br>We definitely would have bathe my dad but he did not feel comfortable with his daughter washing his full body.<br>Also YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE the food they are serving the patients... complete slop! We try to bring him food every day if we can make it.<br><br>On 6/28/26 My dad had a fall that night, he was in the care of the nurse Gloria, and we were not notified by anyone that he had fallen. My dad told us he pushed the call button, and was waiting for someone to come help him for quite a while. We did not find out about the fall until the next day we came to see him around 3:00 pm and that's only because my dad told us. We tried to ask what happened, but no one seemed to know, I called the head nurse, but I did not get a call back.<br><br>On 06/30/26 my dad was scheduled to have dialysis at 8am, he missed dialysis. We were not notified about this either. we did not find out until we came to visit my dad around 3:00 pm. We requested to speak with the administrator (William) as soon as we found out. He stated that the person (Tina) did not confirm the transportation, so they just overlooked it. so, my dad was just waiting, in the hallway, where the nurse left him, for a ride that never showed up. Dialysis is extremely important, so for someone to drop the ball like that. It is inexcusable.<br><br>On 6/26/26 when we came to visit my dad, we noticed that it was urine on his bed, and his Foley catheter tube was laying on the floor. They did not tape it to his leg correctly! And if we hadn’t shown up, my dad would have just been laying in his own urine for who knows how long!<br><br>My dad has been here for 10 days now, and he still has had only one bath! No one comes in to change his bedding, even when they see urine on the sheets, my sister and I are the ones who have been changing his sheets when we get there. It's so sad that they don't take pride in their patient's wellbeing or hygiene. I JUST PRAY MY DAD GETS HIS STRENGTH BACK SO WE CAN TAKE HIM OUT OF THIS PLACE.

My mother’s recent stay at Remington due to hip fracture was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and everyone in the physical & occupational therapy department got my mother to where she could home just 2 weeks after being admitted. A special shout to the following people who made my mother’s stay better: Catrice (who was there to answer any of our questions and/or concerns), Debra made sure to check if patients wanted to participate in daily activities, William who drove my mother to her doctors appointment and stayed with her until I arrived at said appointment. The young lady who worked 2-10 pm shift can’t remember her name but made sure my mom was good at night

I do not recommend this place.<br>Some of the staff seemed like they didn't care about my wellbeing nor that of their other patients.<br>I did not receive daily physical therapy nor did they provide a diabetic (or cardio-care) diet option.<br>One of the male attendants came to check my vitals and repeatedly jabbed the metal thermometer probe under my arm.<br>I told him that he was hurting me and asked him to hand me the probe to place it under my arm myself.<br>Needless to say, I decided not to stay the full 3 weeks approved by my insurance. I got there on a Thursday and requested to be discharged that weekend.<br>***These issues are minor compared to the fact that the day I was discharged they tried to give me 6 unknown medications. When I brought it to the nurses attention, she insisted that I was only given medications that were prescribed. When I asked to see the list of prescriptions (including which doctor prescribed them), I was told to go to the front office - only to be told that I had to fill out a written request to have MY records released to ME by the corporate office. Days later, I picked up the records - only to see that the pages showing the daily logs were too blurry to read.
