Moving our mom to Regency Park was one of the hardest decisions my sister and I have ever made. The quiet, persistent guilt that comes with moving someone you love into an assisted living facility - no matter how valid the reasons - is something you simply cannot prepare for. No facility, however new or beautifully appointed, was ever going to compare to home or meet expectations - we knew that walking in. What carried us through was something my sister felt in her gut from the onset - that the staff would make the difference, and she was right. From the administrators to the caregivers to everyone who quietly keeps the place running, they show up with heart, patience, and a genuine love for what they do - day in and day out. They pour themselves into the care of people who are often confused, frustrated, sometimes ‘combative’ and grieving the lives and independence they've lost - people for whom sleep has become a refuge, found in chairs, at dining tables, in hallways. They step into spaces that families sometimes simply cannot be, and they do it with a warmth that never feels obligatory. And I'd be remiss not to say what so many families living this quietly know. Too many residents move through their days without a familiar face coming through the door - and that reality settles in you in a way that doesn't leave. Our aging loved ones deserve more: more presence, more connection, and far greater commitment from the communities they spent their lives contributing to, from families who are doing their best under circumstances that are often overwhelming and layered with challenges none of us fully see, and from a government that has yet to genuinely reckon with how demanding and costly this season of life truly is - for the people living it and for everyone who loves them. The financial strain, the rigid inflexibility within many workplaces, the absence of policies that reflect this reality - these aren't oversights. They are failures. Which is exactly why what the staff at Regency Park do is so extraordinary. Showing up with grace and genuine compassion against that backdrop - every single day - requires a strength hard to sustain. No amount of gratitude fully meets the size of what they give, the piece of mind they provide, but we offer ours wholeheartedly. They have loved our mother well, and that means everything - THANK YOU!!!

Regency is a wonderful place to entrust the care of a loved one. It truly gives you peace of mind knowing they are in such capable and compassionate hands. The care team was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about my spouse’s specific needs. Their experience with similar patients helped her adjust quickly and comfortably to her new surroundings, which meant so much to me. Before this, I often questioned whether I was providing the best care possible at home—but Regency showed me a level of care and expertise that I simply could not have provided on my own. I also want to recognize the chef and kitchen staff—every meal was well-balanced, nutritious, and thoughtfully prepared. The variety of activities and social events offered is another wonderful aspect, helping residents stay engaged and connected. Thank you, Regency, for your dedication, compassion, and for truly making a difference in the lives of your residents and their families.

Regency Park is an exceptional facility for your loved ones or yourself if you need great care. I was personally a resident there for a little more than five months. Now because of physical issues and a need for continued care I am running back to the place of fabulous staff, fabulous care and residents that feel like family. Everyone of the staff members regardless of their position assures that you are number 1! Yes, every patient is number 1! Regency Park is one big happy family. The staff looks out and cares for you at every level. The residents look out for you personally and everyone is treated as family. Three meals are prepared everyday. If you do not like any food that on the menu, there is always an alternative option. Being at Regency is like being at home. They are always activities at several levels of participation for the residents. Everyone is happy. Everyone receives the level of attention that they need always. Even when you first come into the facility everyone from your table mates, in the dining room, to your involvement with your first activity with the entire group you quickly feel like that you are no longer new.

My 95 y/o father moved to Regency after breaking his hip which left him not able to stay in his home. He has been here for 6 months now and is very happy. Other assisted living places I looked at were more like hotels while Regency feels like home. It is an older building but very well maintained inside and out. It is not sprinklered, but has smoke detection and smoke barriers throughout. It’s a one story building with plenty of emergency exits. My father was able to bring in his own furniture and I like that I can keep a security camera in his room. The staff is very attentive - my dad is always clean and well fed. They clean his room and his laundry. Regency was the most affordable senior living facility that I looked at. His private room with a bathroom is small but he doesn’t need much space. One of the best features is that they have a Catholic mass every Sunday which I attend with him. Bayada home health offers medical care, OT, PT and speech therapy on site which is convenient. The nursing staff always keep me informed of medical needs. They have lots of activities and parties with opportunities to socialize which is better than living alone. My siblings can’t believe that I found such a perfect place for Dad to live when they visit and see how happy he is.
