Housekeeper Dom takes great care keeping the floor clean and tidy. He removes trash, sprays all contact surfaces, and is a nice smiling gentleman. Thank you, Dom!

This place needs to be shut down, and if you have family here, get them out because they're not being treated well at all. It is an absolutely filthy facility on the second and third floors, the residents rooms are gross, the facility smells horrible, and the residents are dirty. The beds smell like urine. The management staff is awful, and they could care less for the residents here. The residents barely get fresh ice water due to the ice machines being broke. The assistant director of nursing treat the nursing staff like they are garbage. It’s uncalled for the way that ADON Jim speaks to the nurses and cnas.

I arrived there not have any idea what I was about to get into. I was there for 20 days) There was a lack of reviews in terms of STAFF care/performance so....(you hear nightmares about some facilities like this). This place and the staff turned out to be AWESOME and I felt so cared for and loved there -- it was beautiful. I even got emotional once expressing my gratitude for their service. GO HERE - they will take very good care of you. You are in GOOD HANDS here!

This place is the worst nursing home in Jackson hands down. It has had a variety of names over the years (Allegra, Heartland, Marlin Manor). At one point the front entrance was remodeled but the important part (where the residents live) remains old and run down. I have spoken with many people who stayed here who had a horrendous time during their stay. Administration doesn't seem to care as much about the residents as they do about filling the beds.
