I truly, wholeheartedly believe this place contributed to my mom’s death. BEWARE. I will be reporting them to the state for countless code violations, malpractice, and overall poor quality care. The most heartbreaking part is that no one seemed to care. We were told my mom had to go to this rehabilitation center because of her high oxygen needs. During her entire stay, she saw a pulmonary therapist for maybe 10 minutes. When she arrived at the facility, she was on just 2 liters of oxygen, walking with a walker, and making progress after 30 hard days in the hospital. In less than a week at this place, everything changed. She became extremely sick, weak, and unable to get up on her own. She had severe diarrhea and they wouldn’t give her medication. She would wait 45 minutes or more for someone to help her get changed or bring her to the bathroom. I had to repeatedly ask staff to monitor her oxygen because they weren’t doing it consistently. I truly believe she contracted an infection there. This disgusting place destroyed all the progress she had fought so hard to make. More than once, her call button was wrapped around the bed where she couldn’t reach it. When she went into respiratory distress, she had to scream for help because she couldn’t even call a nurse. She begged them to send her to the hospital, and one nurse actually said he wasn’t going to call because she was DNR. THAT IS NOT WHAT DNR MEANS. And to make matters even worse, nobody even called me to tell me she was being sent to the hospital. I found out because I FaceTimed my mother and she answered wearing a BIPAP mask. My mama was my best friend, my everything, and now she’s gone. What hurts even more is knowing she was treated this badly while I was there every single day, calling constantly, advocating nonstop, and trying to make sure she was cared for. If this is how they treated someone who had family constantly watching and speaking up, I am terrified for the people in this “facility” who have no advocates at all. My mom spent the last days of her life crying and begging to come home because she was so miserable there. How do people sleep at night knowing this is how they treat vulnerable, sick human beings?

My mother just arrived today and her room is filthy, she is on a strict diet they gave her the wrong food could of killed her. No one came in when she arrived just put her in the bed and left If I wasn't there to advocate for her I dont know what would of happened. I do not feel safe leaving her there. I asked if someone could give a shower they told the dates for a shower are on the wall.!!!!!Iam very concerned about her well being there. They really need to deep clean that place. We are looking for a different facility for her

I can’t say enough good things about RegalCare. From the moment I arrived at the facility to visit my friend in rehab over the weekend, the place was clean, and the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. The nurses, aides, and supervisory team were always professional, kind, and attentive to every need. Thank you again RegalCare at Greenfield, MA

My mother was staying here a couple months ago. Every time I visited her I was so impressed with the entire company. The place was very clean, but not like a hospital. The staff were amazing, very helpful, caring and supportive of their patients. During the entire admission process the admission staff were there to assist me with any questions or concerns I had, and made me feel ok leaving my mother there. I would recommend this place to anyone needing care for the older population.
