This place almost killed my dad two years ago. They did not weigh him, gave him too much dialysis and also did not administer his diabetes medication so he became completely unresponsive and had to be rushed in an ambulance to the ER. They did not call me at all, I called his cell phone and the front desk repeatedly, got no answer finally when someone did pick up at the front desk a day later they told me he was in the hospital. How can you not call the emergency contact when something like this happens?? They also frequently don’t change the patients leaving them in filth and the food Horrendous. I saw a few critters when I went to pick up my dad’s things so I called the board of health.

I have a great deal I could say about this facility, and unfortunately very little of it would be positive. I’ll keep this simple: before making the decision to place a loved one here, go to Medicare’s website, search “Nursing Homes,” and review this facility’s ratings, inspection history, and reported deficiencies for yourself. I wish I had done that more thoroughly beforehand. In our experience, concerns regarding cleanliness, responsiveness, communication, and basic patient care were repeatedly raised and repeatedly met with reassurances that conditions would improve. Meaningful improvement only occurred after significant escalation and outside involvement were discussed. Most concerning of all was watching a vulnerable elderly patient decline physically and emotionally in an environment that often felt reactive rather than consistently attentive. Families should not have to continuously monitor, escalate, and advocate aggressively in order to ensure basic standards of care are met. Please see the attached screenshots from Medicare.gov and do your research carefully before entrusting this facility with someone you love.

My mom hasn’t even been in here 4 hours and they yelled at her she needs to wait to get help or water. My mom suffered TBI which left her without most movement in her body. Sent to rehab for her to regain strength, and Learn how to walk again she called me crying because they haven’t changed her, fed her, don’t want to give her water, or help her charge her phone. Instead whoever the employee was walked in and yelled at her she has to wait. This is absolutely unacceptable of a place to take care of people clearly the employees there that I have met so far don’t care and are just getting paid to be there!

My mom has been a resident of Regal care since March of 2025. She has received outstanding care by all the health workers at this facility. Everyone has been very caring and showed the utmost professionalism with her care. At 97, she's not an easy patient! My family and I are very grateful for all the loving care they've provided our mom with. Thank you RegalCare, the Leite family, appreciates you deeply.
