Quarry Ridge Retirement Community is an independent senior living community located in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, just outside Madison. The community offers resort-style living with 24/7 service, all-inclusive pricing with no buy-in fees or long-term leases, and month-to-month rental agreements.
The community features chef-prepared meals through its Signature Freedom Dining program, with three daily meals at flexible hours plus a Chef's Pantry offering sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, and grab-and-go snacks. All services and amenities are included in the monthly rent, from housekeeping to social events. On-site services include a bank, pharmacy, gift shop, and salon, and residents can contract with third-party home health providers if additional support becomes necessary.
Activities and programming include fitness classes, card games, board games, bingo, movies, workshops, live entertainment, orchestras, concerts, outings, dance classes, chair yoga, and a fitness center with exercise equipment. The community offers the RLC Travel Program, allowing residents to stay at sister community guest suites for free. Apartment homes include full kitchens, spacious closets, walk-in showers with safety features, and some offer patios or balconies.
Pets are welcome at Quarry Ridge, with cats, dogs, and other animals encouraged to share in community life. The community is designed for residents 55 and older seeking an independent lifestyle with the option to age in place.

Truly a safe, engaging place. I know my mom is safe, has access to immediate support if needed, great meals, a handy man for small tasks, and a community that looks out for another. I can’t say enough great things about Quarry Ridge and what it means to my family!

Dale and Shelly are the best managers any RLC could have, they are always accessible, patient with residents, pay attention to what is happening at Quarry Ridge and pitch in, no matter how tired they are, whenever something needs attention. My wife is pleased with the various activities and the equipment in the exercise room. We are not always pleased about the menu choices but we realize the chef can't please everyone all the time. We are happy we currently live at Quarry Ridge and highly recommend QR to anyone who is looking for a retirement facility when they can't live at home any more.

To say that we are grateful for Quarry Ridge is a huge understatement. My parents lived in a beautiful home on the water for more than 20 years until suddenly it was necessary for them to move. We had absolutely no idea what to do or where to go. I’ll never forget walking into Quarry Ridge. The moment we walked through the doors we knew it would be our parent’s new home. Upon meeting the residence and people who work there, it seemed impossible that they were as genuine as they seemed. In reality, they’re even more genuine. Dale and Shelly go way above and beyond their duties. I don’t ever wonder or worry how my parents are because I know that they are happy and cared for by their new family and friends that reside at Quarry Ridge.

My parents became residents of Quarry Ridge on 5/1/23. They love it and I love visiting them there! The entire staff (managers, concierges, lifestyle director, senior living consultant, kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance) all work together to create a welcoming and caring environment for the residents and visitors. I have spent quite a bit of time there visiting, eating meals and participating in special events and family gatherings. As a daughter, I am happy that they are in a wonderful place surrounded by wonderful people!!

After moving my mom 8 times to different facilities, she found a home she loved at Quarry Ridge! It is a gorgeous facility, cleaned to perfection, and amenities too numerous to mention. The food is excellent with many special banquets. Shelly and Dale, the managers, are two of the sweetest people on the planet! They deeply care about each resident and go above and beyond what is expected to help their residents - and their families! My mom passed away at the age of 91 in January 2024. Dale and Shelly provided all the support - and more- to help me through this difficult time! I’m so glad that my mom finally found a place she truly loved before she passed. Thank you Quarry Ridge, Dale, and Shelly!
