Here are my experiences with Purple Hearts Home Care, first shout out to staff Josie, Myra, and Margaret, very professional, courteous and accommodating, Thank you! As for the remaining staff, particular Vivian, who I had my interaction with, there's always one right!, I've been with Purple Heart for over a year now so I needed a schedule change for my mom care giver, sometimes this happens right, I requested that the care giver be assigned particular days and hours, make a long story short I got into a heated phone conversation with Vivian, about the schedule, we both went back in forth, at the end of the day Vivian told me and I quote “If I didn’t like it I could back to the other agency”, Very, Very Disrespectful, Rude and Unprofessional. So, that’s exactly what I did, took the client and my money and walked away. Mr. Samuel Twumasi, owner of Purple Hearts Home Care, I implore you to investigate your company staff business practices on how to treat their customers. I understand that if the client and staff can’t agree, we should at least remain professional and respectful to one another. Sometimes when you are not hands on with the company business, the employee gets to run the company as if it is their own, especially when they think they have the upper hand and no consequences will result in there behavior, “if you know what I mean”., For my experience I give Purple Hearts Home Care, No Stars.

I have been fortunate to qualify for in-home care and Purple Heart home care agency in was selected by my social worker. The aids I have had are efficient, personable and warm. The only downside is when an aid I have become comfortable with, (and knows where everything goes and everything that needs to be done thout me saying a word,) is reassigned I have to start over again with someone new. However, when this happened it only took a little while for us to get to know each other. Thre aid I have right now is warm and loving, more like a friend than somebody who is "working." Edit: I had to change agencies as they said in their pamphlet that everyone was trained, bonded and insured. After approximately two years I had to change agencies as they were not trained, did not go over and above anymore and I began getting aids who were neither trained nor very caring and had to do any slightly heavy cleaning by myself, was, despite my pryests, made inedible meals at their insistence when I have always made my own meals and they kept sending untrained women with no experience and I got tired of having to train aids how to clean and having to find things that were haphazardly put away in strange places and, though I can't prove it, several nice things I owned mysteriously disappeared and I never found them again.
