I would advise to not bring your loved one here. There are much better places. This is an attractive place. It looks nice. But the care is not the best. I've had two loved ones here and a very few things were worth 5 stars, but the care was one star. One of my loved ones was there for post surgery recovery. A major surgery. They did not follow the doctors hospital release orders. His surgery wounds were never treated. The surgery site never had the bandage changed or even checked on. He had drainage bulbs that were never emptied. He was supposed to be there for 6 weeks. We took him out after two weeks. Most of his meds were not given to him, but they gave us all his meds to take home when he left. That was a plus. Another loved one was in the exact same chair 24 hours after I had left him. He was not given lunch or dinner or breakfast. I left him at 11:00 AM on a Tuesday and returned 11:00 AM on Wednesday the next day. He was in the same position that I left him in. He was in the tv reading game room. No one took him to get 3 meals. That Wednesday night they sent him to the hospital because his blood pressure was extremely low. He was also dehydrated. When he went back after that ER visit, a lot of his personal items were gone. Then after he left for good, we got a bill for $1300.00. No explanation. Insurance had paid the whole bill. There should not have been anything owed. We never paid it since we didnt get an itemized statement. So dont go there. Dont let the beauty of the place fool you.

Although we never want our loved ones to need a facility, I have been really impressed with the care and service provided at Pruitt. My husband is often difficult however the staff is always professional and extremely patient providing support to me when I become impatient. Thank you Pruitt staff!

Fantastic nursing and cna staff. Excellent physical and occupational therapists. Social workers need to communicate better and in a timely matter and understand the trials and needs of discharging a patient. And they should be doing the leg work to ensure s successful transition to home for the patient and the caregiver!

Pruitt has been able to stabilize my mother's health issues and help her gain her strength back. The 24 hour skilled care by experts has been life-changing and given me peace of mind. The staff has been responsive to any concerns about her care or health. There are daily activities to participate in along with a hair salon and "nail" day.
